I came to this best buy to purchase a new TV, asked one of the sale man, he came by and told me he will find someone else to help. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting, talked to the manager, he just avoid the situation. Worst customer services and lack of technical skills.

Though my service with the mobile department wasn’t the best, they did eventually solve my problem so I should give them credit. I needed a sim card as I was only visiting the US for 2 weeks. When I first visited, the wait for service in the mobile department was very long, and once I finally got to speak to a representative, she was able to point me in the right direction, but wasn’t able to give me any recommendations. This resulted in me buying a sim card that didn’t fit my phone. I ended up returning the next day, trying to exchange it only to find out that they don’t accept returns/exchanges on sim cards. I thought I was out of $ 50, but luckily they were able to cut the micro-sim into a nano sim, thanks to their handy dandy puncher they have on them. It was then able to fit in my phone and I was able to go along my merry way! I was also able to find the first three seasons of The Big Bang Theory, as I’ve decided that I wanted the entire collection on DVD/Blu-ray. Target only had seasons 6 – 8, so one more star for that!

If I could give them 0 stars I would… I ordered a stereo online to be shipped to this store. It arrived last night and got a confirmation email. I couldn’t find my license but I did have my work I.d., college I.d. Both with photo identification and the order number and conformation on my phone. He said he can’t without a stage issued I.d. Without giving me any options as other forms of I.d.(Not everyone drives so wtf would they do!?) I asked if I could get a refund(just deciding my options) and before I could even ask If they could ship it to my house they had already cancelled the order. Holy shit I’m staying away from this company. I felt as if I made a huge mistake when I ordered with them. Thanks for wasting my time and gas for the 20 min drive to your store.

Purchased an open box laptop here yesterday. We called ahead to ensure that the one mentioned online was still there(since we had gone all the way to the SugarLand location to find they didn’t have a quarter of what it claimed was in stock online). It was there and available. We got in to find there was no box or paperwork at all… Just a laptop and cord. Husband opened it and turned it on before leaving to ensure it was working. Sure enough, major glitch. A geek squad guy said he’d hold on to it and check it out to ensure it was working before we took it home so we hung out in the area waiting. He called and said it would require a full reconfigure so we went home and decided to come back later that day or the next to get it. Then we got a call saying the entire laptop was«defective» and we needed to come back for a refund. This is 30 min from my home and I have a 1 yr old who doesn’t like being dragged all over town on useless errands. I told the manager that I wanted it replaced with a new and/or at least working laptop of the same model at the same price. She took an hour to call me back and said she didn’t have one and would just give me 10% off another… That wouldn’t have been half the good deal I got on the original laptop. We spent another hour+ in there looking at others and had absolutely no luck. A fully wasted day. This company runs a technology store! How can they have such outdated systems? The online inventory is perpetually wrong… And they apparently have no system for finding items in the store… a total mess. Not to mention that they sold me a laptop that no one had bothered to inspect for damage upon return. If I didn’t have this crappy gift certificate, I would never shop there again. I will use it up under duress and go back to using Amazon… Which never disappoints.

I just visited for about 10 minutes. All of my time was at a single display — the phone screen protectors. I couldn’t tell if there is only one or more than one screen protectors in the package?!? One simple plastic screen protector for 25 bucks?!? I studied this problem in the same place for 10 minutes. All the while, three of Best Buy’s finest were 15 feet away yacking it up about whatever — something other than the idea that the guy whose been standing in the aisle may need some help?!? It wasn’t very busy. Three or four other employees were within eyesight(I counted). I’ll find my screen protector on line now. This is how Amazon is going to kill brick and mortar. Best Buy will go the way of Blockbuster — life expectancy of 5 years… maybe.
