Very surprised to walk into this theatre, and find out that it’s been in the community for years(since the 50s). The floors are wooden, it’s clean, and I liked the experience. It’s great for families, and very affordable. They generally show a nice selection of movies.

Small historic theater in a tiny town, was here for the Woodstock Film Festival. Charming interior and organic popcorn at concessions! Unfortunate mustiness, though not unsurprising given the theater’s mostly volunteer(I believe) staff.

Friendly neighborhood theater, wonderful variety of movies that change frequently. A pleasure not to spend a fortune at a huge mall theater and support a local, community institution.

I love this place! I don’t know how they do it but this almost all volunteer organization manages to get some of the most interesting first run movies(admittedly often late in the run) and charges a fraction of what you would pay in the city. Wednesday matinees $ 5! The screen is a good size, the sound more than adequate and the seats are comfy. If you get a whiff of mildew when you first go in it just reinforces the fact that you are supporting a worthy cause. Add $ 3 popcorn, $ 2 candies and homemade brownies and you have got a winning experience. If you are in the area and in the mood for a movie come here.

Huge screen! Inexpensive. Great films. Easy parking! They are part of the Woodstock Film Festival, too.

Step back in time and feel like a local at this historic local theater which appears to favor indie and art house flicks. Note: Theater was going through a renovation when we visited over Labor Day weekend. Candy bar, bottled water and popcorn was $ 5 or $ 6(would have been $ 12 at The seats were shabby but comfy enough. The unisex bathroom looked like we were visiting Great Aunt Mable’s house vs a theater.

I absolutely love this beautiful theater! As a child, I grew up coming to see films here with my grandparents that I never would have seen in the«big-box» theaters. As an adult, I actively come here because the selection is great, prices are very affordable, and there is a feeling you get through supporting this almost entirely-volunteer run theater that you cannot get anywhere else. It is super quirky in an excellent way!

It’ll take you back. It’s old school. One screen, one person selling tickets, one selling popcorn and drinks. If you’re all about 3D and surround sound so loud you feel it in your chest, this place is not for you. If you’re looking to see a movie on a decent sized screen with a good sound system and a comfy vibe, then look no further.

Great place to catch the avant garde in cinema! Nice big screen, decent sound system, nice old-timey feel to the place too. Place could use some renovation but it’s still a great place. I went here in Oct, 2010 for a special screening of Night of the Living Dead & had a great time!
