The best dollar store I have ever found… Somewhat fresh produce and decent food for a dollar? YES. Also lots of useful things for beauty and stuff. Love love love the staff!

One of the nicer 99 cents stores. Always clean. The shelves seem pretty well stocked also. The shopping center its in is older, but don’t let that discourage you. All kinds of great finds! Stay away from the clothes bags though. I bought a couple, and they fell apart leaving plastic pieces all over my clothes.

Everytime I believe I’ve stumbled onto my new favorite 99 Cent and Dollar Store I find yet another to compete. The size of this dollar store as well as layout is similar to the huge Smart & Final store here in Sacramento on Watt Avenue fully stocked with fresh veggies, grocery & non-grocery items. This particular location is located right next to the Interstate 80 East & West ramps making it conveniently located each time I head back home from Roseville to Sac. To it’s left is a Goodwill thrift shop that I stopped into this trip which was higher priced than I like but will make another trip or two into it before I render a decision on it. This location is by far the most all inclusive I’ve found to date securing its #1 placement in my $ Dollar Store ever-growing list. Fresh produce! Sugary sweet, moist & peeled baby carrots and shredded cabbage coleslaw bags are a great score and find here. I make a lot of homemade slaw so whenever I can pick up these pre-cut bags I’m thrilled. Bell peppers and bagged romaine and iceberg lettuce too saving us at least 60% on what I’d normally pay at any other store including a Super Walmart. Frozen bags of excellent quality frozen peas, corn, strawberries(unsweetened) and my all time favorite bag: Mixed berries. All for a buck. I use their frozen bags of berries to make the most delicious berry reduction sauces for our low carb waffles so it’s awesome to have a readily available supply of them in our freezer as they keep remarkably well. Their garden section is one of the best I’ve seen. On this last weeks trip I scored bundles of 5 Bamboo stakes and 2 packs of bamboo U-hoops which let me garden non stop and transplant like crazy; for pennies on the dollar. They also nearly stick all their items which is a huge plus for me. Dairy. Lots of dairy refrigerated items too including milk. They also have been stocking my favorite black metal raised plant stands which transform our back patio currently over crowded with potted plants sitting on the ground until I slide one of these kick ass $ 1 metal stands under them making them look polished and designer. Currently I’m driving by this location weekly so will continue to shop here verses the locations much closer to my home. Customer service has been excellent thus far too only adding to the pleasant experience. A 5 Star experience for me. This is a very good thing.

I’m going to rate this store as a beer store. They actually have really good beer. They always seem to have Sapporo beer. Their other brands are in and out, but I find they even have some craft beer. The fruit and vegetables are good too. I don’t know about the wine… I’m not such a good wine buff. Lots of stuff that sells for a higher price elsewhere. I think it’s got a way better selection than Dollar Tree. I think they could cut down on waste if they refrigerated some of the veggies. you do have to be selective because they don’t refrigerate the veggies and I have taken home say some tomatoes that turned out to have some rotten ones in the carton. I think they get fruit and veggies on Thursdays.

Lacking incredibly on the customer service. Called the Pleasant Grove store to see if they had plain mugs, because apparently thats hard to find around xmas, they were SO polite and even ran onto the floor and checked to make sure they were in stock. I called this store while im in the parking lot, expecting great customer service, because I needed more. When I call and ask if they have any mugs in stock, Ashley tells me «they should» and proceeds to tell me theyre on aisle one. I asked if anyone could go check if theyre actually in stock, she flat out says no. Being in customer service I was kinda shocked. I then asked again, even willing to be on hold, still flat out«No.» Im not sure what thier policy is on customer service but im pretty sure that would not be acceptable. Sweet okay, I now know where I wont be shopping anymore.

Mostly good: Clean, well stocked, good people. Just one problem: «Nichole» snapped at me, smirked, snarked around and gave me a huge ration of attitude. If they can lose this kind of condescending, «You go over there and wait until I’m ready for you» petty tyrant malarkey, I’d give them five stars.

I LOVEEEETHISSTORE! Sure you might find some off brands but they’re usually GOOD! My family likes Granny Goose chips and they’re on par with Lays. Seriously. For a buck. To be technical 99.99 cents. I can get Abba-Zabbas here! YAAY! Still locally made in only Hayward! I LOVEEE that candy! Can’t usually find it either unless you go to specialty candy stores! I also like the fact they have good coconut water here too! We usually go at least once a week. spend $ 60 and have over 10 bags of groceries: PRICELESS

This store is huge and has everything. They sell groceries, household items, holiday stuff, etc. The prices are super cheap. There is plenty of parking.

They’re produce is awful. Bought 3 avocados and they were very over ripened and moldy on the.inside. I definitely won’t buy their produce but on general they’re merchandise is good.

We wandered in there one evening and were pleasantly surprised with the selection of merchandise – all of which were for 99 cents! There’s a lot of cheap Chinese made junk, but there are some good bargains to be found there. They even had fresh produce! The store is fairly clean and the people who work there are somewhat friendly. The customers in the store appeared to be of varied backgrounds and income levels.

I love this store! Huge location with tons of random knick knacks. But what makes this store the best is the grocery store in the back. Produce and canned goods at great prices.

Only two reviews for this awesome place?! Not cool! I’ve been to this 99 cent store multiple times now and I am always impressed with how clean and organized this store is compared to other 99 cent stores. The shelves are always fully stocked and organized that you just can’t help but grab something and throw it in your cart! I can spend a long here! I enjoy walking down each aisle browsing at everything and anything and randomly putting stuff I really don’t need into my cart. Come on, when you see something for only 99 cents, how can you not pass that up?! I have no will power! :/ Of course with any Dollar store or 99 Cent stores, pick and choose your items carefully. If you’re buying food, check the expiration dates. My sweetie bought beef jerky and said it had expired and tasted like crap. I always get party bags and wrapping tissue here. For a dollar, you can’t get that anywhere else! I also like to buy random containers and baskets just for the heck of it. This 99 cent store sells the big microwavable mac and cheese, triple cheese! They are usually almost $ 2 at a regular grocery store so for 99 cents I usually grab like five. I also like buying chips here, super cheap! Staff is always working! You will not see one lounging around all lazy, they actually do work here and it shows. This place and Dollar Tree is my go-to spot for munchies!

This location is pretty nice. Nice big store. Not too crowded(as other locations are). Nice friendly staff. Just stay away from the batteries. I bought a 9-volt and it lasted like 5 minutes… I should have known. But there are some great deals here.

I am not a big fan of 99 Cent Only Stores. Having worked for them in the past, I find their business ethics and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. But… I recently visited their new store in Roseville on Douglas near I-80. Clean, well stocked and organized. Manager stocking shelves and cleaning the whole time I was shopping. Entire crew seemed to take pride in their job. Keep up the good work!
