Jess was awesome. She was super helpful with my choices of frames and even helped me with an insert on a frame which required writing. It took about 20 minutes of her time and she was very nice throughout. Thumbs up! Oh and they have a buy one frame get the other for 1 cent

When I was here months ago I bought a bunch of Sharpie pens really cheap (individually). But now they were only selling them in packs. I only wanted a few colors but I figured I would use the extras at some point so I bought a 12-pack (each pen a different color). It was quite expensive at $ 27 for the pack. Next time I’ll go down the street to Office Depot.
When I was ready to pay, the only employee took the pens and then went to talk to another customer. Uh, hello? How about you ring up my purchase instead of being rude and helping someone else.

I’m a professional photographer, and I have always liked their frames. As far as the customer service it’s hit or miss for me here. I had a horrible experience there several years ago. The manager was checking me out, and I’ve never met anyone so rude in my life. I won’t go into the details because it seems like the management either changed, or they keep that lady hidden in the back where she can’t scare away any more customers. I only recently started going back for the penny sales. So far the customer service has been nicer. Hopefully that manager is long gone.

Pros: Gotta love the $ 0.01 frame sale. That’s the only time I buy frames.
Employees here are helpful and the store is never too crowded.
Cons: If you want to buy more then five of a certain frame, you might have to travel to another store.
Overall: Great prices for frames when they’re having the $ 0.01 sale, which seems fairly often.

My wife and I purchase lots of frames from Aaron Brothers. They have a wide selection and if you take advantage of their coupons you can do pretty well price wise. We can almost always find something that will work for our needs. I have also used their custom framing services as well. Had some rather expensive original artwork that needed framing and they did an excellent job with that. The workmanship was great and the pieces have survived a couple of moves in outstanding shape. Personally, I always feel that custom framing services are somewhat overpriced but again, if you take advantage of their many coupons you can always find a good deal.

I frequent this place for stocking up on art supplies. The acrylic paint prices are fairly reasonable (level 2 – 3 range about $ 4/tube). The staff is pretty helpful as well. They have a great sale going on right now until the end of January — buy one frame/canvas, get one for a penny (which is rad, because they are definitely not easy on the wallet). All in all, this is a good place for a corporate art supply store, but I think I’ll try giving local art stores my business (there is a fantastic one in midtown).
