Not too hard to tell this was a Taco Bell years ago. Well the food has improved since those days in the past. The fish and fries were not greasy or salty. They had good flavor, but they were kind of stingy with the fries. When I am in that part of Roseville at lunch I will go back.

For my friends and family near Roseville, California. Fantastic Fish and Chips. Nice firm fish flakey and NOTOILY. Big servings. Nice crispy batter. Just the right amount of batter. Excellent chips(fries). Tartar sauce is excellent. I’ve never had a bad meal there. I’ve not tried their other dishes but will soon. Consistent 5 star quality. Give them a try. You’ll return for more. Long time customer. Thanks for the good food Anchors. PS: Update — Two Months Later and its still delicious. The owner/manager/operators are super friendly. Make you feel very welcome. Just Good Nice People running a business focused on Quality and Excellent, Friendly service. We eat there about 3 – 4 times a month. Delicious.

They are very good. Actually one of the best Fish and chip places around. fast, friendly service. The food is always fresh, never too greasy and nice crisp taste. I’m very picky about my fish but never disappointed here.

Not bad but certainly not worthy of 4+ stars. Just rather meh. Greasy and not very flavorful.

First let me start we the wait staff was very friendly, thats why they got 2 stars… next the fish isn’t cod it is Pollock, not to my liking, i wanted COD. the chips seemed to be out of a bag, not hand cut and the tartar sauce was like mayo and mustard with maybe a little pickle juice. I got the 9 piece family plate. took home 3 pieces and threw them away. It’s say’s London style but i don’t think that’s true. I’ll do more research next time.

Not impressed. The hush puppies were dry, the fries cold, the batter was really hard. Disappointed to say the least. Won’t be back…:(

I was on my way back down to the Bay Area from Reno last week, and I remembered it’s been awhile since I stopped in here at one of my fave Fish and Chips places. The prices have gone up a little, but what else hasn’t? Cooked in peanut oil, these fish fillets are from pollock, so are bigger and thinner than the usual cod type fish and chips elsewhere. A thinner bigger piece like this, give more surface area for that tasty deep fried batter! My 3 piece order was $ 9.75, just $ 1.50 more than a 2 piece order, so why not? The same lady is at the cashier, doing a super efficient job. My fish order comes out fast, and wow, that’s a lot of food … all super hot and crispy! Served with malt vinegar, housemade tarter sauce, and catsup. OMG! are those fish fillets good! Fried just right along with the fries. The fries are pretty standard type frozen. Plus, they threw in an extra piece offish with my order! Gotta love this place!

Wow! I’ve lived in Rocklin for 7 years and was always a little sketchy about trying this place out and boy do I regret it. I’ve been to the UK and have had real fish and chips, this place is awesome. Clean inside and portions are great.

This is exactly what you expect, fish and chips and other fried food. The restaurant is tucked away in a little stand-alone building that is a little dated but In a way suits the restaurant. I will have to say that the staff is really friendly and the food is delicious along with very generous portions. I had the three piece fish and chips which came out with more than three large pieces and was perfect. The batter is perfect with the right amount of taste and Crisp to add to the fish. It was definitely more than I could finish. Tartar sauce is one-of-a-kind and very enjoyable. My wife had the fish and prawns which I snuck in a bite of the prawns and they were delicious as well. My son at the dippy dog which he seem to enjoy… Overall the food is delicious and the customer service is great as well. We definitely will be back anytime we crave fish and chips.

I love this hidden gem. Their fish pieces are nice and large(so big my bf & I share the 3 piece meal) and their clam chowder is nice and rich with a hint of butter.

I have lived in the area for 10 + years and just stopped in for dinner for the first time this week. This is an order at the counter fish and chips place that serves beer and wine too!!. They have all sorts of combinations on their menu with fish, shrimp, scallops, calamari, oysters and I’m sure I;m missing something. The food is made fresh to order and brought to your table. This is a hidden gem and I am sure we will be back.

My whole fam comes in here for fish and chips. It is probably the best place to get them when you are on this side of town(Roseville). The fish is delicious and not too greasy. The fries are not cardboard or limp. You will smell like fried food when you leave this place.

deep fried mushrooms yuuuuum. Reasonable prices, clean, and food is delicious. I loved their diverse menu of fish, shrimp, scallops, calamari and even chicken strips. Have been looking for a good deep fried food place for a while and this is the best in the area!

Fish was ok. Nice size filets, just not much to them. I had the 3 piece fish/chips. Cook threw in an extra piece of fish. Seems like that’s the standard practice here. I also liked that the cook hand delivered my order to me. A nice way to stand behind your work.

I wasn’t too impressed walking into the restaurant or when I saw the prices… I thought for what you are getting it’s too expensive. That being said, we did not eat there and did not see the food portions until we got home. The portions are HUGE — gigantic even — hubby ordered the 3 piece fish and chips and compared to other restaurants, it’s the size of like 6 pieces of fish. Everything was still crispy when we got home — and the french fries were YUMMY too! The restaurant needs a major make-over — metal seats the ones that still are attached to the table and swivel — i would not eat here, but i will say the quality and taste were absolutely wonderful. The couple who run the restaurant seemed very nice and we are glad we tried it out :)

Delicious! Nice find! Wondered why I only discovered this place only now after living in Roseville for 13 years! So used to eating at Tugboat Fish and Chips I’m glad I made my way here. Came here during lunch with my daughter. Ordered the 3-pc fish and chips. When our meal was served it came with four pieces of fish. The owner was nice to give us an extra fish and my daughter and I enjoyed 2 pieces each. The fish was cooked just right. Batter was light, crispy and not greasy. Delicious! Ketchup and tartar sauce come in large bottles so no shortage of condiments there… The restaurant was kept clean with shiny floors. Inside did not smell like grease and the tables were wiped clean each use. The food is brought to your table once prepared. There is patio seating. Most of the patrons were senior citizens during my visit. They seem to be ‘regulars’ at this place. Great first time experience here. And, also, while waiting for our food I noticed that the background music played classic hymns… recalled hearing«How Great Thou Art» and«Bringing in the Sheaves»… awesome! Ample parking spaces on a private parking lot and located next to McDonald’s on Harding Blvd.
