I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in. Calling it «the chipotle of Pizza» isn’t the right description, but it’s the best I can think of at the moment. The selection is fresh, but I highly suggest that you not go crazy with the toppings because my pizza turned out crazy tasting, lol, but my boyfriends tasted perfect(he just ordered the meat eaters). The only reason I took a star off was because of the line. 45 min wait in line is ridiculous imo, and you can’t call ahead(but you CAN order online, which I totally suggestions during rush times). It’s now my favorite pizza, and the bane of my diet… maybe it’s a good idea that they make you wait in line… it’s to pace yourself. Haha.

NOTIMPRESSEDATALL The staff was friendly, but honestly, that’s the only positive. The dough was terrible, the sauce was terrible, the toppings were terrible(except the sausage) and the drink fountain was not working right. When we got home, all 3 of us felt sick to our stomachs. Not going back. OH…ANDTHEYDON’T HAVEDESSERTPIZZALIKETHEIRCOMPETITOR.

I brought my family here for dinner one evening. My parents have never tried any of the build your own pizza places and they’re picky so I thought this would be a great place to try. The staff was friendly and patient, explaining the process on top of all the questions my parents had. Nice variety and fresh ingredients. The ingredient I was most impressed with is the Ovalini Mozzarella. Throughout the meal, the staff would come by to make sure we had everything we needed and offered these half size pizza boxes for those who couldn’t finish the whole pizza. I’d give it 4 stars for the food and 5 stars for the service.

This place Is the Chipotle of pizza. I didn’t know what to expect when we walked in. I ordered a veggie pizza with vegan cheese. It was actually really tasty! I like how quickly the pizzas cook and the people that work there are very nice. Next time I’m trying the spicy red sauce.

In my mind… Blaze and Blast were the same, but apparently they are not. Good to know! Anyhoozles. I’ve been to Pieology loads of times and love the options, especially the gluten free crust. Here’s something Blaze has over them though: FRESH gluten free crust! Miles better than the frozen. Another couple’a pros: — great veggie selection — great meat selection — they don’t skimp on the toppings! at Pieology I always have to ask for MOAR and they usually don’t take the toppings all the way to the edge of the crust. NOTSO with Blaze! — super quick(duh) — friendly staff(including the blue-haired girl who danced while making boxes!) Some cons: — limited sauce choices(spicy red, classic red, or alfredo); what if I want garlic and herb or just oil? — that there isn’t one closer to me! This place is worth your time and a great alternative if you don’t want a burger or a burrito!

First time here and pleasantly surprised. Same concept as Chipotle Restaurants. The staff was very helpful and explained the process. It was nice to pick what toppings I wanted. The food was a great quality and delicious. The crust is a thin crust and about the size between a small and medium. It cost us $ 21 for 2 pizzas and 2 drinks.

Yea, we were disappointed. For me, it was mostly disappointment in the quality & taste of the dough. There’s just something off about it, but I’m not sure what it is. dough conditioners? too dense? For the others in my group, there were many complaints about the lack of freshness of the veggie ingredients. The ceasar salad was very unappealing, too. We ended up just tossing it out. OK, but there were very nice things about the place, too. The place is very appealing and open air. The assembly line experience of the make-your-own pizza is a great concept, and the self serve for the little things(to go boxes, drink counter, etc.) were very convenient. I thought the drinks were way too sweet & syrupy. maybe the CO2 system was having a bad night? Wish they had a ‘soda water’ option so I could dilute my drink down. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and appealing. Even though I didn’t like it, don’t go by me if you haven’t tried it yourself. I’d also say highly recommended with a large group or for kids(who doesn’t love a custom made pie?) Price is very reasonable for what you get, and comparable with similar pizza joints poping up all over **Update: I would like to thank the manager for reaching out to me. While this style of pizza is not mine, I completely support a business with management that cares enough to make the customer happy! Thank you

Most worthy ! Build your own pizza for 1 price. Many toppings as you want. Short cook time. The result is pure heaven, and I ain’t religious. Also have a good beer list… thank god(there’s that religion thing again) they don’t have mass-produced drivel or green bottle nastiness. We’re talk in’ Karl Strauss Red Trolley and a nifty Pilsner. I am in love!!!

Blaze… You’ve stolen a pizza my heart!!! $ 8 for a build-your-own personal pizza! So you start with the sauce, and then the CHEESE. O M G, I love cheese, & of course you have to add a heaping of shredded mozzerella. AND, I love the ovalini mozzerella!!! Next, the MEAT. They got the usual suspects… grilled chicken, bacon, pepperoni, TURKEYMEATBALLS, ect. The veggies are next: they got everything here too! Olives, spinach, artichokes, roasted garlic, grilled onions, etc. You pay, and they pop it into the oven. By the time I got my drink and claimed a table, my pizza was done and ready! Woow! How! I need to get me one of those ovens in my kitchen! The staff was wonderful: nice, helpful and friendly! They run you through the line quick and explained the whole process very efficiently. If you can’t tell, BLAZEWASSOMUCHFUN. You can literally say you want EVERYTHING on your pizza…(but don’t be that person, okay!!) Time to eat a salad…

This is the best of the now proliferating Chipotle-of-pizza style restaurants I have been to yet. Granted my only other experience was Pieology in downtown Sac, but I think that is the industry standard. Blaze is HUGE with ample indoor and outdoor seating making it great for groups and individuals alike. The line moves quickly and efficiently, the ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly. I received my pizza within 5 – 10 minutes(though it advertises 90 seconds to blaze…) and it was piping hot and delicious! I also ordered a smores cookie which is an awkward task because you can order it with your pizza and get them both rung up at the counter at once and then when you are ready to eat it they will place it near their oven for you. This took also 5 – 10 minutes and the chocolate and marshmallow were NOT melted and the dessert was overall lackluster. Their pink lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet — great flavor. If you are a normal human and cannot finish your pizza in one go(just kidding, I have eaten whole pizzas by myself too!) they have nice half pizza to go boxes. I would come back if I was in the area and was craving pizza. Can’t beat that variety, price point and efficiency!

I came here for the very first time yesterday, Saturday, night at 930pm. So glad that it stays open until 11pm on Saturdays. The ordering and customizing was easy peasy. They’ll talk you thru the menu and ordering process if you’re a newbie… no biggie… no attitudes. Folks working that night were great. I ordered the custom made pizza for $ 7.75…unlimited toppings. But don’t go over board, the pizza is thin crust so you may get a literal hot mess from the weight and taste of all the toppings. Also don’t be afraid to ask for more of a topping if you want, I did for the sauce and cheese. The pizza came out great. And quick. Crust was just the right crispiness and the sausage was surprisingly tasty with a mild spiciness. Yay!

Came here during Pie Day on 3.14… I can say I had a great time personalizing my pizza like theres no tomorrow. Line may be long, but line did sure moved quite fast. Was waiting for about 10min top, and my pizza was prepared delicately by me and only me, but with the touch of their employees’ help… Pizza was done being baked in their oven for approx under 7min top. Pizza came great, was the right sauce, wasn’t too saucy, was the right toppings, thank god I didn’t over added so much… Only thing I would recommend to have on their condiments, is to have Sriracha Sauce. I needed that. But red pepper will do, I guess… For now!

Having come to Blaze Pizza a few times now, I have realized that there are many things I love about the place, but just one I don’t. First off, the customer service is top notch. All the employees I have come in contact with are friendly and welcoming. Most go above and beyond to make it a great experience which is nice because you can tell they really enjoy their jobs and have fun at work. The selection of the ingredients is good, with a few choices at each station and they also have salads, beer, soda and a dessert on their menu. The inside of the restaurant is nice and spacious with plenty of seating for everyone and it’s kept super nice and clean. When I came in on a Friday night at 7:30pm I was surprised to see the line wrapping around the inside of the restaurant and almost out the door! The whole process from waiting in line, ordering, and picking up my pizza took a little over 30 minutes which wasn’t too bad. Do keep in mine that the low price point($ 7.75 per pizza) does attract a younger crowd so it can feel like a High School cafeteria at times. I have tried their Margherita pizza(which is my favorite) as well as a Build Your Own Pizza where I chose the toppings. I enjoyed the Margherita Pizza the best because the crust was nice and crispy and the topping were minimal. Unfortunately with my Build Your Own Pizza the crust was not crispy at all and even soggy in places. My Unilocal friend Jon L said this is because when vegetables cook, they release water and when pizzas cook in 180 seconds it doesn’t give the water enough time to evaporate. Boo. This did also happen on my Husbands all meat pizza too though, so I’m not sure why this is. I didn’t have many veggies at all on my pizza so they may be what keeps me from coming here on the reg. I do enjoy this place because it’s cheap, ingredients are quality, and employees are super friendly.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza in the Roseville neighborhood is wicked awesome! I can’t believe that many Unilocalers agreed that this new hot business is on the roll! Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a kind of a special fast food restaurant that makes many pizzas creations you want(ie. Chipotle and Subway). Their service is very friendly, and I have no problems and complaints at all because they treat very kindly for everyone near and far. For the ordering process, I started the«create your own» pizza order. The pizza size is small, so you can eat the pizza entirely on your own, or share it with your friends. I added my favorite topping like ham, bell peppers, cheese, traditional red Marinara sauce, etc. After filling my toppings, it cooked blazingly fast for 5 – 7 minutes on a hot, smoken’ oven until it completely finished. Once it’s finished, I started my first bite, and bam! Their pizza tasted so incredible, and their toppings I’ve ordered are very fresh and new. I’m glad that all foods are made local, so I’m appreciate for the local farmers who worked so hard to make their toppings fresh. Overall, the Roseville Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is the awesomest pizza restaurant where you can make your own pizza or trying their own specialty pizzas anytime, anywhere. I’ll come back for more in the future!

I love the«build your own pizza» concept. Blaze is a perfect example of how this idea can work well. Like a few other notorious chains where you select what you want, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza uses fresh, prepared from scratch daily ingredients to customize your pizza . You walk down the assembly line with a choice of regular or gluten free crust(both fantastic) and choose your sauces, cheeses, veggies, meats, and various other toppings. Also available, are the signature pizza’s already designed on the menu such as the, «Meat Eater, BBQ Chicken, Veg Out, White Top», etc. They have a good selection of salads, «chicken ceasar, roasted veggie/gorgonzola, beet/goat cheese», to name a few. The chicken ceasar is hearty with an abundant amount of meat and the dressing is thick and not too salty. I also sampled the veggie gorgonzola it is generous with toppings. Beer, wine, cider and soft drinks, as well as homemade cookies round out the offerings. Everything is FRESH and prepared from scratch daily. Build your own pizza and add ANY toppings for one price, no overcharging for extra’s, and I like that! Pizza’s take 180 seconds, Three minutes. DONE. I was surprised how fast it was from start to finish, By the time we got our drinks, found a seat and sat down, they were calling our name to collect our pizza’s. The blazing hot oven cooks the ingredients quick, and provide a crispy crust with melty cheese and slightly charred veggies. OHMYYUM. I was eager to bring my +1 as he is a pizza aficionado and picky about his pizza. I read the reviews on other«Blaze Pizza’s», so I was confident the food would be top notch– I was right. We both selected to customize our pizza’s and my +1LOVED his pizza and the crispy crust… he choose(among other things) all the meats available– and declared the sausage to be, «insane». I loaded mine with veggies and some chicken, choosing the gluten free crust which was tasty! My fave was the roasted garlic cloves and the goat cheese. Creamy and fresh. I was blown away at how friendly and eager everyone was– they acted happy to be there! The Assistant Manager was also available, helping with the food or just making sure everyone was happy with their meal. I was impressed with the freshness of ingredients, variety of options and the incredibly helpful staff. We both enjoyed our experience. I left full and happy!

Like many, I was privileged in coming here for a Unilocal event. The restaurant set up is you go up to the counter much like Panda Express, Chipotle and Subway. You can order one of their eight signature pizzas or create your own for the same price. You would think this would not be organized and have long waits, but this place has specialized in having the pizza hot-and-ready in 180 seconds in the oven. The pizza itself is thin-crusted and somehow healthy feeling. I did not feel bloated and gross after almost devouring the whole thing. Executive Chef Brad explained it’s the way they ferment the dough! I like that they have different selections of cheeses(such as gorgonzola if you’re that kind of person) and sauces such as spicy red(which is spicy, I kid you not!). There were a variety of usual and not-so-usual toppings such as arugula if you wanted to be fancy! My personal blend of white sauce, pineapple, Italian sausage, bacon, olives, chopped garlic and mozza was actually perfect. The staff were amazing. These guys worked hard getting pizzas made for a FULL restaurant of Unilocalers. All with smiles and friendly, positive attitudes! They took the time to explain the set up, made suggestions and made sure our pizzas were on point! Highly recommend if you’re craving pizza in this area and all for a great price too!

This place is amazing! Staff are so friendly here! It’s relatively healthy depending on what you choose and fast! Crusts are thin so I don’t feel bad about the carbs. Pizzas are done baking within 120 seconds! This place is like subway but for pizza. They have make your own pizza where you can choose the crust(regular or gluten free), sauce, meat and veggie toppings. They will also top it off with a sauce like pesto if you like. Lactose intolerant people rejoice— they offer vegan cheese! They even ask if you want them to switch gloves so your vegan pizza isn’t contaminated. How thoughtful is that to customer I had the gluten free pizza, vegan cheese with veggie toppings. It was so good! I couldn’t even tell that any substitutions of a regular pizza were made. For dessert, they have s’mores cookies. They keep it by the oven so it’s nice and warm when you get it. Can’t wait to come back and try out all the many combos I could order!

We were lucky enough to attend a Unilocal event held here for Unilocal Elites. It was our first time and the event made us fans of Blaze Pizza. First off, it’s like a fast food pizza place. You walk in, there’s an assembly line you follow. You choose the ingredients. From the crust to the toppings, then they put your pizza in the oven and it’s ready in 100-Eighty seconds! BAM! You pay at the register. What I love is that unlike some places I’ve gone with this similar fast– firing/baking process, the pizza was made on time and my pizza wasn’t burnt! The salads we ordered were also incredibly fresh, with yummy dressing. The other thing that impressed us was how well-trained the crew is here. Hubby and I were impressed with how friendly and professional all of the staff is here. Also, we got to meet Brad, who is the chef. Just talking to him makes you sense the true passion he has towards the ingredients they put on their pizza. We also met the regional manager, Tom, very personable, with a commitment to customer satisfaction. We enjoyed our first visit and we’ll definitely come back.
