Chester’s Loans & Jewelry Company

Run by a husband and wife team. I have come to them a number of times over the years for jewelry repair, unofficial appraisals (when settling my grandmother’s estate), and for selling gold. Their jewelry repair is much better than the self-​proclaimed «Master» jeweler over in the antique mall. I took something to be repaired by him, and it broke in the parking lot on my way out. Took it to Chester’s and it is still in good shape. Furthermore, when my grandmother passed, I had sell a lot of junk gold chain and gold coins. I shopped around to 5 different places in Roseville and Rocklin. These were the only people who offered a fair price and called to find out the exact market price at the time of sale (and unlike several of the other places I went, they did not try to hustle or pressure me). This is a locally owned and operated business that has been doing a great job for decades. I sure hope they never retire, because trustworthy business persons are an endangered species.

My husband have going to Chester’s in Roseville for many years. I just had my charm bracelet fixed at an awesome price. Excellent service every time. You never know what treasure you find there too!
