Not only is this place amazing for BBQ anything but they have amazing customer service. I had a pretty big order back in October of 2015 where a small part of my order was missed, not a big deal because we had over ordered. I called the store when I noticed that I was short a few items. They said no problem we’ll put you on a list saying we owe you. I thought ya ok sure you will. Now fast forward to 5÷12÷16 nearly 7 months since the mishap. I call in to make an order and remember the conversation I had 7 months ago with the manager and in the first off chance I asked if they had me on the«we owe you list» and sure enough I was 7 months later they didn’t forget the customer. Great service and food!

Lack of customer service, I wasn’t sure what to order and they were not very helpful. I ordered a brisket sandwich and it was just a ok. Place is clean in a nice shopping plaza.

I was very disappointed with the service at this Dickey’s. While I was placing my order the girl taking the order did not look at me at all. She was staring at my boyfriend the whole time, and it’s not like he was placing the order. The employees were rude, and didn’t ask if I needed anything during my visit. If you live in the area I would highly advise you to make the trip to a different Dickey’s. I recently visited the Dickey’s in Natomas, and they were VERY professional. They would constantly make sure I was enjoying my food and ask if I needed anything else.

I love coming here for lunch! Everything one the menu is very good. I do enjoy the different sauces and of course the ice cream in the end. I had some bad days here at dickeys but they always do a good job correcting the problem. It is very consistent and delightful. I cant wait to get a hold of another brisket sandwhich!

We used to like this place but they are going steadily downhill. Bunch of kids working here with poor customer service skills. Ordered Mac and cheese with my daughters meal and got a cup full of cheese. No kidding, it looked like nacho cheese and no noodles. We asked them to replace and got«it’s been like that all day, it is what it is». It was the lack of customer service that made it 100x worse. Then my kids were disappointed that the ice cream machine was out of order. They both said this place sucks.

Dickies isn’t bad, but i feel like this location is a rip off compared to others I’ve been to. For example the menu clearly states that the meat plates come with pickles and onions, plural, but it arrived with a single tiny piece of onion and pickle chip. I could probably go ask for more, but why should I have to? Meat portions are smaller, side portions are the same compared to the other Dickies locations I’ve been to(Fremont and Folsom).

I’m sorry but when you want BBQ, you want BEEF, PORK, you want MEAT. I’ve gone to Dickey’s two times and disapointed both times. the sandwiches should be on a kids menu. even my wife was not happy. I do not like it when I spend $ 15.00 and we are still hungry! Dickey’s! Make a Man Sandwich!!! You’ll notice I checked«Quiet» on the Noise Level below, It’s because the place was empty

I am going to establish at the beginning that I am from the South. I am not sure what they are selling but this was not Southern Bbq. It was terrible absolutely horrible. It tasted horrible and I was soooooo disappointed.

This place is garbage. The other night my parents went out to get some takeout. The food they got from here was literal garbage. The chicken was cooked very poorly and had zero taste. The ribs were extremely sub-par Extremely low quality and WAY overpriced. The whole meal all said and done was near $ 40, but the quality I wouldn’t have even paid $ 5 for the garbage that we were given. Steer clear. If you want to spend your money on food that’s actual good, check out BJs in Roseville. Hell, go anywhere else instead of this place, it’s SHIT.

I purchased the 3 meat plate Togo, which the cashier told me was 10oz of meat. I opened my plate when I got home and I could tell right off the bat that I got hosed. I measured the meat and I had just over 6oz which is the weight of the 1 meat plate. I paid 16 dollars and was completely ripped off. The turkey and ham were overcooked and the chicken tasted like a piccolo Pete firework. I was so disappointed. Update: The manager John got a hold of me and apologized about the incident and offered me a meal to make up for my last experience. It’s good to see people care about their business. I believe my initial experience was an honest mistake and I will return in the future.

Much better than the last time I was here the staff was much nicer and more friendly. The only problem was that they put bbq sauce on the kids meat plate without asking.

Sooo… I’ll just start by saying that this is not my favorite BBQ place, or even close. However, my husband and son do like it, so we get it once in a while. We ordered online, out of convenience, as we have done before. They get the food packaged quickly, so this method is usually the way to go. Well, this time it was not the way to go. As my husband was on his way to pick up the order, the restaurant called to say that they were SOLDOUT of all the kinds of meat we ordered. Did we want to order something else? Um, no, not really. Since there is only one meat I like, the brisket, I was not thrilled. Called my husband, and he was already there and already knew the problem. They, then suggested to my husband that if we had CALLED in our order(instead of ordering online), we would have avoided this problem. True, but rude and implies that it was our problem and not theirs. I kind of figure that when I place an order from their menu that I can actually get those items from their menu. They were neither polite nor helpful to my husband. He is NEVER one to leave a scathing review, but he could not call me fast enough to ask me to do this. He’s off to the new Dickey’s in Rocklin, where they DO have all the meat we ordered. I’m pretty sure they don’t care, but I doubt we will be back.

Our new family favorite! We went on Sunday when kids eat free, so you can’t go wrong with that :) The staff smiled and were friendly when we came in, and the front cashier was helpful when we weren’t sure what to order or how something was prepared. Hubs and I each had the two meat plate — pork and brisket(beef not cut /but sliced in strips). I had the beans and slaw for my side, and he had the fried okra and beans. You get your own BBQ sauce, either spicy or regular, which was perfect since I like a lot. The portions were huge and we each took a side of meat home for lunch the next day. The meat was super tender and just delicious. Everything was clean and tidy /organized. The girl who delivered our food was upbeat and apologetic that our rolls weren’t ready at the same time. We all left with the free soft serve and full, happy bellies. My only recommendation would be to turn the music down just a tad! But even that won’t keep us away.

So I admit that I bought a Black Friday special online to get $ 100 worth of gift cards for like $ 49. So ya, I eat here pretty often because of that. And honestly it has turned me into a fan. I was always meh about it, but now I am actually interested. Lately I have been getting the 3 meat plate with ALWAYS Ribs and cheddar spicy sausage. Both are always good. I love the spicy bbq sauce they offer. Also, get the mashed potato casserole and thank me later. They put cheese, green onions and bacon on top of taters. SOGOOD! Brisket and pulled pork are decent. Free vanilla soft serve in a cone PLUS kids eat free on Sundays. So YA! My family and I like this place.

Screw the haters I really like this place. I have hidden my affections too long. Don’t know why people hate on this place so much? Been to two locations and they are both really clean. The food was really good. Better ribs than other 4 – 5 star bbq joints I’ve been to. The pulled pork is very tender and the sauces they offer are very tasty. Original, sweet and spicy. I prefer sweet. My favorite are the sides. The bake potato casserole is on point. You can not beat free ice cream either. Reminds me of when sizzler was actually good. I always get excited for free dessert. Price is reasonable. Don’t know why bbq is so expensive in California but it’s my Achilles heel so I will pay for it. Now I’m hungry…

Overrated. Tried it twice. Once at the restaurant, the second time catered for a wedding. At the restaurant, I tried the 2 meat plate with Southern pulled pork and spicy cheddar sausage. The pulled pork was so mashy, it appeared and tasted as if it had been soaking in water, not swine fat, but water. I didn’t eat half of it even after trying to give it some flavor with available sauces. The spicy cheddar sausage was quite delicious, and it would be the only thing I eat from here again. Green beans and bacon were bland and probably had been sitting in a pot/pan for a while. Waffle fries were welcome since the rest of my plate went mostly-untouched. I tried one of my girlfriend’s ribs. It was ok, nothing special. At the wedding, I had the brisket. It tasted more like it was cooked in a crockpot than coming out of a smoker. No flavor! I doubled up on wedding cake just to fill my belly. Those who praise this place have never had good barbeque. Period!

I’ve come here more than a few times now with my last visit being about six months ago. Like my last visit, I ordered the family pack. It consists of one meat choice(one pound), two medium sides, and four small rolls. I chose the chopped beef brisket, potato salad and baked beans, for the sides. The beef brisket was okay but didn’t enjoy the few bites I had which consisted of nothing but fat. The potato salad was bland and boring, had better at grocery stores. The baked beans were average. We’ve had the coleslaw and the baked potato casserole on previous visits and can’t say I’m fans of those either. I did ask for a side of pickles which were sliced and put into an open paper sleeve. The family pack and the pickles were placed in a smaller sized paper bag. Well, by the time I got home, the juice from the pickles soaked through the paper sleeve and all over the bottom of the bag, onto the seat of my car. Ugh! Anyway, if it sat there any longer, the bag would’ve broke, luckily that didn’t happen, but my seat smells like pickles. The prices have definitely gone up. It was a little over forty dollars for my family pack. I think the price was about ten dollars less, six months ago. I would say that my overall rating would be two and a half stars for the quality and value.

I ordered pork BBQ ribs which were pretty good. The BBQ share I did not like though. All I could taste was vinegar!((Also side of my green beans with bacon were over cooked!((( Corn on the cob was done right so that was good My husband ordered the polish sausage and chopped beef brisket which was not bad. But again the beans were over cooked and potatoes not crunchy
