Fox offers various photographic services like photo restoration, in addition to having a full portrait studio and printing facility. That being said, I took a photo to Fox for their restoration service; it was a single photograph about 50 years old that I needed digitally touched up and a few prints made thereafter. I was appalled at the pricing I received; $ 200 for just the digital restoration, and prints would be extra! I could not believe that it’d cost so much. So I did a bit of research and found that CVS/Pharmacy’s photo lab also offers this service; they send it to their 3rd party studio to process, and it takes a week or two. I opted for the CVS service. It ended up costing about $ 60, which was what I expected it to cost. After restoration, the prints looked fantastic! Even if Fox could match the quality of the CVS restoration(and it sounds weird for me to say that) it certainly would be worth all the extra money just to say I had it «professionally restored.» My suggestion would be to find somewhere else to restore photos. I can’t say that their studio services are as pricey, but definitely check around before you go with Fox.
