Contrary to popular response and single star rating I am rating every one of the experiences I have had with service, attention great food selection(fresh just been cooked or in the process of completing a side or entrée is how we always catch them). My only guess is that Marion R. and Carol P. may have shown up after my monsters, the mister and I cleaned em’ out. Coincidently, we went to have their family dinner all for under 15 bucks. And, we still have so much left over after feeding good sized individual dishes. Their food is SO good that my finicky«I only care to have what you say no too or macaroni and cheese addicted» 3 year old eats it. Best part of the meal is the end of it when we each get a fortune cookie and read them. My boys insist on reading em out loud. Todays was priceless. Owen’s cookie read, «God will give him everything he wants» and Noahs read«Have a Nice day». Though they aren’t fortunes exactly Noah’s reaction was hilarious«aw man that’s it?» Good family meal = 15 dollars. Everything else, priceless.

The HOTWOK inside Raley’s Supermarkets are plagued with poor customer service. In the Roseville store, I have visited at 12:30PM, 2PM, around 6PM, and four times in-between. Invariably there is no employee visible behind the display of tempting food, and so you stand around, crane your neck, look around — and wait. Someone finally comes out and asks what you want. Yesterday was no different. This is lunch and dinner times we’re talking about… and there is no clerk visible. Someone told me once that the Hot Wok was independent of Raley’s and so they could not control the staff, the hours, or the quality. Not sure if it’s true, but they certainly don’t get my money if no one is around to wait on me. I just leave!
