Larsen Motor is recommended to me by my friend. This is my first mechanics and I think it will be my only mechanics for my Nissan Altima. Very frank and honesty people. They will only suggest the service that is ACTUALLY needed. So I put 100% trust on what they said. Just one note, they are popular so book well in advance.

Cannot say enough good things about LM! They fit me in when they were already over booked. Said it might take a week due to back log but when I told them how stuck I was got it fixed in 2 days. When done they showed me the part they replaced and what went wrong. Did not talk down to me. Have been ripped off by tires plus and other garages so wonderful to find a place where mechanics are honest and competent. 10 stars!!!

Great experience here today. The guys fixed the problem and didn’t try to sell me a bunch of BS. Service was prompt and reasonable. I’ll return in the future.

As I was driving to my Shop one Sunday night, & the local Police pulled me over & asked «Is this your car? & Do you know why I pulled you over?» I said «I have no earthly idea» Police «Your right headlight is out»
So I went o Valvoline they could not fix it & suggested Larsen’s. So I went Jake was very nice & informed me it could be between $ 150. — $ 500.oo. After a couple hours Jake called me and told me it would be $ 35.oo.
I absolutely recommend this place !!!

This is the best auto repair shop in the Twin Cities. They have been in business since 1958, and owned by the same family the whole time (the current owner is actually the 3^rd generation). Also, Kare 11 News once polled Twin Cities residents and said that this was one of the top 5 auto repair shops in the Cities.

This is the only place I trust to bring my car in for any repairs/​oil changes. The reason is they don’t jerk you around. I appreciate that because I have NO CLUE about cars and really don’t know if a repair shop would be ripping me off. One instance I had was when I had to purchase new tires and the place where I bought the tires (at a chain tire shop) told me I had an problem that needed to be fixed with my breaks and would have cost me about $ 400. I brought it to Larsen and had them check it and they saved me $ 400 because the problem wasn’t there! I have had that happen a couple of times over the years. I also like that you bring your car in and when you pick your car up you are not being sold five other things you don’ t need. Now mind you unless you work/​live in the area it might be hard to bring your car in for a day thing because they don’t have a lobby to sit in but if you have been told you have a high cost repair somewhere else you should give them a call and see what they would quote you. I am sure you wouldn’t be sorry! One other thing they are located close to the Roseville Library so if you do have to wait you could take a walk over there and read some books at the coffee shop while you wait too.
