Maidu Library

Wanted to check out the Martha Riley Library this Saturday afternoon with the kids, but got routed to this one that came up on the GPS by accident. Oops… well they DO both start with M’s. Also, it is right across from a baseball park and has some nice big pine trees next to it. So at first we thought we were in the right place.
Anyway, after we parked and started to walk in we knew something was wrong… It definitely did NOT look like any of the pics posts here on Unilocal!When we got inside it actually seemed smaller than it looked on the outside. What we thought was a second floor was just a row of skylights.
There was a cute little kids section to the right that had their own set of computers, but nothing like what is described about the kids areas at Martha Riley! To the left was the general library stuff. They had another row of computers for public use, but they were all being used.
Bottom line… It’s a nice little library but definitely not what we were expecting. So now we are going to try and find the Martha Riley Library!!!
