I mainly went here because they offer same day service and I needed some stuff cleaned for work. I dropped everything off early in the morning and was told to come back anytime after 4:00PM to pick up my stuff. That worked out perfect for me. I get there around 5:30PM and hand the lady my ticket. She went to the conveyor machine and comes back with just the pants I had dropped off. I pointed out that I had some shirts too and she replies«No you didn’t. Just pants.» Really lady? It is right on my ticket what I had and I am pretty sure I know what I brought in. She checks again and shocker I did have some shirts too. She gives me my total and I hand her my credit card to which she informs me that their PC crashed and they cannot take credit cards for the moment. I offered to run to an ATM to get cash, but she said it would be about 5 minutes until the owner would be there to boot the machine back up. Fine no biggie I can wait. A little while later the owner shows up and fiddles with the machine. The entire time I can hear her huffing and puffing because she cannot get it to work. Again I tell them I can run to an ATM if that helps and they assured me it would be up soon. Long story short I was there just over 40 minutes total waiting to pay for my damn clothes. What irritates me the most is that they had no back up in case their system went down. You’d think they at least have one of those old school card imprinters, but they didn’t. While she did apologize for the delay, that is all she did. I was really hoping for an «I am so sorry for the delay, let me take 20% off the bill to make it up to you.» but she didn’t. That is the least they could have done for having to wait 40+ minutes to pay. To top it off I get home and go to put my clothes in the closet along side John Travolta and find that the seam on the backside of the crotch area had come apart. They weren’t like this before I took them in as I inspected things prior to the drop off. Needless to say I will be looking elsewhere for my dry cleaning needs from now on.
