First time i visited the Roseville Orvis store and we pleased to see how nice and big it is went looking for waders the lady behind the counter was very nice and help me get fitted for the right size very happy with service and Will be going back many more times you have a new happy customer

Very nice women’s clothing store. I really did not get a great impression of this place when I first went in. But, I have to change things up a bit. There customer service is pretty fantastic. I came in to just look at the Guide Sling pack. At the time I really didn’t have the cash to buy it but, wanted to see if it was worth saving the rest. As I am looking at the pack one of the employees starts talking to me about it. I told him I was just checking it out and told him I didn’t have enough right now, his answer? «How much you got?» Was very cool of him to make a deal and get the bag in my hands. way above and beyond what I would expect. I can’t speak to their knowledge yet but, will def give this shop another go.

Wonderful store in The Fountains in Roseville. The store is laid out quite nicely and there is room to move around between the tables and racks of clothing.
The quality is wonderful and the prices are comparable for the items I looked at in store and online. The staff is very friendly and gave us our space to not only look around but was there when we had questions.
I would definitely return!

I grew up fishing with spinning and bait casting reels in southern California. After moving to Sacramento, I decided to take up fly fishing. My wife and I started at Orvis Roseville about a year ago, and we’ve been coming back ever since.
Jason, Mike, and Burnell have all been incredibly patient, informative, and helpful in getting us into the sport. Whether it’s gear selection, suggestions on where to fish, or fly patterns to use, they have helped us along every step of the way.
I have been very satisfied with the quality, value, and performance of everything I’ve purchased at this store — rods, reels, fly lines, flies, and accessories. Orvis makes fantastic gear at all price points, and they cater to everyone from novice to expert. You don’t need to spend $ 900 on a rod at this shop, but you can if you want.
The customer service has been outstanding. At this point, my wife and I stop by the store anytime we’re nearby, whether we need anything or not. Thanks to the Orvis Roseville crew for introducing me to one of my favorite activities. You guys rock!

I don’t fish and can’t remember the last time I camped. I have never purchased anything here but my boyfriend shops here quite a bit. He fly fishes and recently started tying his own flies. I usually tag along when he goes to Orvis.
I have never experienced customer service as superb as this. You can tell how much the staff members love their jobs. They are willing to sit and talk about fly fishing for long periods of time. They give good advice on equipment, technique and locations. Instead of trying to sell the highest priced item they recommend the item that is most suited for the individual customer. The last time we were there, the staff told us to come in any time to ask for fly-​tying tips.
I don’t even fly fish but I am always blown away by my experiences there.

So I’m new to this whole fly fishing thing and I had such a great experience at this fly shop. My cousin signed me up for a fly fishing 101 course courtesy of Orvis. The instructor Doug gave us a 2 hour class on basic fly fishing and then took us out for a 2 hour course at Gibson Lake in Antelope. They provided us with fly rods for free. This class was for free and so educational for aspiring fly fishermen. I have to definitely give this place a 5 stars because the service was all there. A free fly fishing course? How could you go wrong with that? Very professional and courteous staff. I can’t wait until I become a great fly fisherman. Thank Orvis!
