Perry’s Barber Shop

My current barber broke her leg so my son and I needed to find a place while she gets better so we came across this gem of a barber shop in Roseville. Perry was great at greeting us as we walked in to make us feel comfortable. My son received a great hair cut from Art while I got the pleasure of getting Perry’s chair. Great guy to talk to while getting an outstanding hair cut. We have been back now four times getting a chance to get hair cuts from the other staff and I have to say that all guys at this location are very professional taking pride in their work. My wife is impressed with the hair cuts. Even though I really like our previous barber we will be staying with Perry’s since it is a great place and closer to our home. Worth checking out.

Every time I go here they get better and better! If you want the best hair cut you have ever gotten get it from Al he’s an absolutely incredible barber he can do anything perfect! I will get my hair cut from him every time if I can. A must go barber shop Perry’s in downtown is for sure!

I’ve tried several Barber shops in the area until I stumbled on Perry’s. Very friendly staff and always a good conversation. My son and I have been going there for about 8 months. I’ve had Perry, Corey, and Pete all cut my hair and never a complaint.

COREY IS THE BEST! He, without a doubt, will ALWAYS give you a clean fade and take his time to make sure you are 100% satisfied! Haircuts usually take around an hour or so, depending on what you want, and I’ve NEVER seen anyone go home dissatisfied! He’s also very CLEAN and washes his instruments thoroughly with barbercide after each haircut. Haircuts are only $ 16 (SUPER CHEAP) and, usually, people tip ~$ 4.
Unfortunately, Perry’s doesn’t accept appointments so you’ll have to just show up and wait your turn… BUT you won’t be disappointed!!! It usually gets busy towards the end of the day when people are getting off work so plan ahead and take a half day or plan to come on a Saturday! (FYI-​come Saturday there is usually a morning rush dying down towards 11AM-​12PM as they also close early around 4PM. Additionally, they are closed Sundays and Mondays and re-​open Tuesdays through Fridays 9AM-​6PM.)
Perry’s is relatively small and offers limited indoor communal seating to customers as well as a restroom in the back. They also have a TV, which is usually set to ESPN, to help kill time while waiting.
There are three barbers total; Corey, Perry (the owner), and Pete – each are incredibly talented in cutting/​fading/​creating designs/​etc. I adore Corey the most but have also heard good things about Perry. Pete is relatively new so I don’t know much regarding his overall barber skills, but, I’m sure he’s equally as talented since he apprenticed under Perry himself!
Overall, A MUST TRY if you’re looking for a new barber — you definitely WON’T regret coming here! WORTH THE WAIT and CHEAP!!!

Cory is an AMAZING barber. Exactly what I asked for without having to ask. I had ended up a few places before and had been decently pleased but never happy. Cory gave me a hair cut im thrilled about. Found my new barber, no question about it.

Today was my first time getting my hair cut at Perry’s and it was well worth the wait. The guys in there were laid back and great to talk to. Cory did an awesome job and for that I’ll definitely be going back. Don’t waste your time anywhere else and go check them out!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Perry or Cory for well over a decade. Even when I lived in Downtown Sac I would make the drive to them. Totally worth it, they’re the best!

Perry’s Barber always has customers on the sideline bench waiting in line patiently. There’s a reason for that and these guys know what they are doing, so we try to make it out here first thing in the morning. They’re open Tuesday to Friday 9−6PM and Saturday 9−4PM.
My hubby and our boys get their haircut here all the time. We’ve tried various places but they just don’t compare to Perry’s! We just took our 1 yr old son to Cory this past week to fix someone else’s work. Sides and top were crooked and didn’t even out. Cory did have to cut most of his hair off to fix it and now it looks great! I can’t thank him enough for helping us out especially with all the photo ops during upcoming holidays and family outings.

Perry has been my barber for about 8 years. Two other barbers work at Perry’s. They each appear to have loyal clients. I think they do an excellent job. Find out for yourself. Don’t rely on hearsay.

Perry’s is a great barber shop! I get my hair cut here every couple of weeks and not only do they do a great job but they also provide a great atmosphere with lots of funny dialogue.
So far I have worked with Perry and Dillon both of whom left me satisfied with their work.

I been going here for about 4 or 5 months already. I moved from San Jose to Roseville almost 6 months ago. I tried Mario Barber Shop and wasn’t satisfied. I also tried Doonans Barber Shop and I didn’t have that friendly experience. The first time I tried Perrys Barber Shop I got my hair cut done by Perry. It was friendly and not only that you can see tv or talk about just about anything with them. Now I cut my hair with Cory or Julio. I have no problem cutting my hair with either of them 3. I have made this shop my permanent barber shop. They kinda make me feel like if I’m back in the Bay. Great staff and great barbers. I strongly recommend this shop. They welcome first timers. No appointment needed.

i have been to many barbers in sac (mostly downtown), most of them have this holier than God attitude but fade you up like supercuts douchebags! all of the barabers at perry’s are very through with their work and take great pride in it. the only downfall is that it’s always busy, but who wants to walk into an empty barabershop? they are busy for a good reason! go and find out for yourself, you wont regret it! i usually get my fades by Cory or Julio.

The people that work at Perry’s are extremely rude. I would highly suggest spending your money on people who deserve it.

These guys are great! Will take care of you every time, making sure it looks just the way you want before you leave. Pete’s a solid professional! And being able to watch the games on the flat screen while you wait, isn’t to bad either! It’s like a man cave away from home.
