I was sent here from US healthworks because hey couldn’t draw my blood. Now sitting here for 20 mins, I know there is nobody ahead of me and Cheryl(front desk person) hasn’t called me up to even take my paperwork. There is one other patient here waiting as well. I am pretty annoyed with the lack of organization of this office.

The tall blonde at the front desk was super rude. No sort of greeting whatsoever and unprofessional. We walked in and said«hi» and while she was on the photocopier she just turned to look at us, not saying a word until about 5 minutes later when the name was already signed. She shouldn’t work there if she doesn’t like working with people. I didn’t really get to say what I was thinking of saying, but you get the idea.

This place sucks!!! Been coming here for ten years and it has increasingly gone down hill. Beyond slow and disorganized… Very frustrating! Will seek alternative lab!

I went here without an appointment on a Monday afternoon(2:30pm). I was seen at 3pm so I waited 30 minutes which wasn’t bad. The phlebotomist that helped me was really nice and friendly. She made me feel at ease. Her name is Denise. I asked her if it was usually busy. She said they’re always busy and I got lucky because there’s usually just one of them working maybe that’s why other reviews weren’t that great because maybe the usual wait time is much longer. My experience was great. Nothing to complain about.

The Flustered Phlebotomist. The one person they have working is inefficient and slow. She does not really seem to know what she is doing. Not someone that I am confident to have jabbing a needle into my arm. All of their locations are like this. I hate Quest. They are all about maximizing their profit with the poorest employees they can get, at the lowest staffing possible. I have had to wait as much as three hours before, for a blood draw. And appointments are an illusion. It is strictly first come, first served. I need to find some other source for my regular blood labs.

Disappointed — Quest has expanded obviously but without regard for service provided. Online reservations are easy. If that concluded the service it would be a great review. No staff at counter, disregards privacy laws, no explanation of delays, waiting room packed. Not a good experience.

If you want to make an appointment, just do it online. You can not make an appointment in person at the lab, and it is a pain to make an appointment on the 1−866-MYQUEST phone number. You have to talk to a computer to make the appointment and the computer kept saying it couldn’t understand my response. There are a lot of Quest Diagnostics locations, so that is convenient. I tried to call the 1 – 866 number to talk to a person who could see if this kind of test needs for me to fast before the test because my doctor did not say I needed to fast. I only got the computer when I called the 1 – 866 number and was not able to talk to any actual people. I called the lab phone number at this location three times to ask about fasting, but no one was answering and I got a recording. This location is in a nice building across from Sutter Hospital, right next to the Starbuck’s. It is easy to get to. I guess I am giving it 3 stars because I was trying to talk to an actual person and had called three times, but was not able to make any phone contact with any Quest workers and had to deal with the computer. When I tried to cancel and reschedule the appointment by calling the 1 – 866 phone number, the computer said my confirmation code was invalid and it couldn’t cancel. It decided to just go into the location in person to reschedule, and they said I had to reschedule online or by calling the 1 – 866 number. Ugh. Easier to do it online. Yes, they do allow drop ins, but you have a longer wait with a drop in appointment.
