Roseville Carpet One

Regarding the response to my review: as you can see from the pictures, I cited damaged that was not caused by «defication» from pets. We have a Sr dog who does occasionally loose control of her bowels, however, that should not cause the level of damage we have experienced. I believe the pictures I posted stand on their own. We had an extremely poor experience with Carpet One and I stand by my original review. Run! Don’t walk, to another flooring store.

Our contractor suggested that we get a flooring estimate from the Carpet One in Roseville and we are glad we did! From our first meeting in the showroom, Gina was a tremendous help. She guided us through the process of selecting engineered hardwood, carpet and tile for our remodel in Lincoln She asked lots of questions to learn what our preferences are and then made suggestions in each category. She provided samples of the wood to take to the site and provided more when we didn’t find what we wanted the first time. She came to the house and did the measurements and prepared a detailed estimate of the work to be completed. That’s when Tommy came into the picture. He and his crew did a great job in tearing out all of the old tile and carpet. They did an even better job in installing the new wood flooring, carpet and tile. He suggested several ideas for laying the wood which we took and turned out great. Tommy is an artist in cutting wood to match up to existing features like the island with spindle legs in our kitchen. The job was completed in the time agreed to at a good price and minimal surplus wood and carpet. We will definitely return to Carpet One in Roseville for future flooring needs.

Excellent service and great installation on a recent carpet purchase from Carpet One at their Roseville store. One of the largest displays of carpet and hardwood flooring I have seen in the area, with extremely competitive pricing on name brand products.
Gina in sales came out to measure the house the next day after I asked for a quote and assisted in getting the color choices down to a couple of colors that complemented the décor and interior paint on my home. I had the entire house measured a year ago as I was making decisions on what areas needed wood and where carpet would be appropriate. Gina’s measurements came within two square feet of the earlier measurements. Her knowledge and assistance, as well as her extremely accurate flooring measurements, were greatly appreciated. She has a very pleasant and helpful personality.
The installer Louie, and his assistant, were right on time the day of installation. Louie was easy to work with, very methodical in his installation methods, and great on the little details. He did an exceptionally nice job on the staircase and landing, and did a great job on cleanup when he was finished with the project.
The custom ordered Mohawk carpet arrived at Carpet One at the time Gina advised it would, and the installation and sale were handled flawlessly. I’m more than satisfied, and the price was extremely competitive. When the job was complete only a very small piece of carpet was left on the roll, no waste or paying for carpet that was not used on the project.
Just a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gina, Louie, and Carpet One. Each step of the way everyone was on time, displayed excellent customer service, and delivered as promised.
If you are getting bids for an upcoming flooring project, I don’t think you would be disappointed to add Carpet One to your list of potential stores to do the job.

Gina from carpet one was excellent from the first time we met her. We wanted to match the new carpet with our existing carpeting upstairs. She pointed us in the right direction almost immediately and came to our house to measure that same evening. Within a day she had our estimate and follow up with us on every step of the process. We had carpet and hardwood floors installed. The installation was on time, professionally done, and looks great!

AWFUL customer service! Had to come back to pick it up because our quote had sizing for the carpet to be cut and they were shocked that they even offered to cut it for us and weren’t prepared as the quote said it would be. Once I picked it up, they cut one of the pieces 1 foot too short and because we needed the carpet for a show, didn’t have time to make them correct it. After that, the carpet broke our vacuum because it was shedding so bad (not due to it being cut as we didn’t vacuum the edges), and when we called to confront them about the entire experience, they told us «that happens sometimes». NEVER going back or referring anyone there.

We had a fantastic experience working with Carpet One. We purchased a home in Rocklin and Jim met with us promptly to take our room measurements. When my husband and I went to the showroom, there was no high pressure sales. He listened to what we were looking for, actually steered us toward the flooring on sale, and we had a write up with in a day or so. Tommy came and installed our carpet and laminate. He is a meticulous craftman and went ABOVE and BEYOND while putting in the flooring. He was dependable and reliable, showing up at the time he said he would, finishing the job in the time frame he originally stated. He asked our opinion in the different options he could do to finish our floors and baseboards and they turned out perfect! Besides being great at his craft, we trusted Tommy to be in our house while we weren’t present without a second thought. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We would HIGHLY recommend both of these gentleman and would use them again!

Slow to respond to needs. $ 2,000 higher than competitor. Arrogant attitude and nasty accusations when I informed them they lost the business. I’ve crossed them off the list for future consideration.

Do Not do business with this place. I tried to get a simple in home est. and was given the run around by salesman Bob. When I called back to make a complaint and asked for a manager Bob put Jim on, who is not a manager but a fellow salesman. I call again and this time got Earl «the manager» this place is playing games. Buy elsewhere, why take a chance on this place…
