This review pertains to just the pharmacy. Last week two out-of-state relatives came to visit us. They are both disabled and have an assistant who helps them with a variety of things. For their visit, the assistant didn’t see to it that any of their prescription medication got in their suitcase so they had none of their medication. E in the pharmacy was able to take all the steps necessary, to get them the medication they needed, in a very short time. All of us are very happy with the outstanding customer service E extended to us. Thank you so very much.

Without a doubt, probably the worst place to shop for food items in a 100 mile area! They do not even know the importance of labeling fish properly. Absolutely lacking anything good in a grocery shopping experience. This place makes me want to quit eating. Fortunately there a many good choices around for a good food shopping experince. Don’t even go there!

Very helpful staff even if were being super difficult. The store is kept clean and organized. The bathroom was clean but could also use a face lift. Other than that I love shopping at save mart!

They don’t have good beer selection at this location and at that the vendors do not rotate product. So I sit here with a 3rd choice, mildly warm beer. yay

Just a word of advice, check the expiration date of whatever you buy in this store. They sell expired goods. Or they put something on sale and then you buy a lot. But they expire the next day.

This is the Walmart of the Grocery Store world, minus the cheap prices. That. Is. All.

If I could 0 stars. I was in line and I was rung up some wine and thought the bottle was open. I said to Debbie hold on a sec and went to grab another bottle. Eight seconds later she was ringing up the entire line of customers. I mean seriously I said give me a sec and after the line was done I was finally run up. Poor attitude by the checker. I left telling myself I won’t ever come back to Savemart. Oh and I saw a young worker pick up a spilled Togo chicken that fell on the floor and put it back in the heated canister. Talk about unsanitary. Gross!!!

Great store … friendly staff. I like this store because they have great prices, awesome selection, and the store is bright and the isles are wide. I don’t know why certain stores(Safeway & Whole Foods) insist on dimming their lights and make it hard to see anything on the shelves. Not Save Mart though. Cashiers/Clerks can be a little quirky … for example — guy with twisted mustache … all of them except for the Asian clerk(can’t remember her name — Ann, Pam, ??) are so friendly, nice and helpful. Have only had one bad experience with that gal — she was very rude and short and completely unwilling to assist. I didn’t have time to ask for a manager to complain — I will next time I receive that sort of service. I have lots of grocery store experience — so I know what it takes and what is tolerable — and her attitude and behavior was unacceptable. I avoid her line … I am a regular shopper here.

Unfortunately I had to give it a one star. Else I would NOT have given it a star at all. Well, for my once a month shopping I usually shop at Save Mart Stores and this afternoon was not any different. This was October 11, 2014 and at check out the checker refused my «Food Stamp Card.» They stated the service was not responding. They pushed me out of the way took my grocery cart and escorted me to the managers’ booth where a particular«PREARREST» would take place. I was singled out and made to pay for the grocery items with another method that the original checker refused to honor. They tried very hard to make me look like I wasn’t going to pay for the items mentioned. So, CUSTOMERSERVICE is not their strong point. If you like being pushed around and your favorite payment card being DENIED for some lame reason then this is the place. Note: That very afternoon after shopping at Save Mart Stores I went to another local store and my «Food Stamp Card» went through very well I might add. And that is it. All I write. Bottom line DON’T BEPOOR!

Save Mart often only sells certain produce items from Mexico(like green onions and tomatoes) and doesn’t offer the alternative of buying produce grown in the U.S. Many of us are leery of Mexican produce since we don’t know how the produce was grown, whether the water used to grow the produce was contaminated, or what pesticides have been used. Save Mart should should also offer the option of buying produce grown in the U.S. whenever possible.

I am an avid Bel Air shopper(for their customer service) but find myself coming here more often because it’s close to home. I will say that they always have great deals on grocery and non-grocery items. The staff are always pleasant and on nice weather weekends they are outside on the grill cooking up some tri-tip. During holidays and sport season the store is decorated accordingly and they typically have a cool display to look at(go Niners! lol). There are also two red boxes at this location.

Went in looking for a few items for a meal I was cooking up and right as I walked into the produce department I was greeted by a young gentleman named Kevin, who was very knowledgeable and got me exactly what I needed, after that I was able to make my way through a couple isles and up to the line where I met Julie. She greeted me with a smile and asked if I found everything alright, she even noticed that my debit card was the San Francisco Giants and proceeded to tell me about how her husband and son watch a lot of baseball. All in all everyone was very friendly and I will be back!

Employees: mediocre. Atmosphere: dingy. Store: old & not so clean. My worst complaint is the series of expired or near expired food I always seem to get. I don’t tend to look at the expiration dates of pantry items. But when I got home I realized a salad dressing was over a month expired! I went back to the store & all the rest were expired as well. What kind of store sells expired projects?! I had to go to the store for a child’s «bathroom emergency» the other day(which promted me to finally write this!) & decided to get some orange juice there on sale. Only problem… all the juices expired in one week! How can I take advantage of the sale, buy 2 or 3, if I only have a week to drink them all? I have never seen this at other stores I shop at, usually items have such a great shelf life. I don’t know exactly what is wrong with this store or if all SaveMarts are like this. And if something isn’t on sale… forget it! Everything is overpriced!(I hate expensive stores that just lure you in with sales!) They have a lame selection of organic products as well so I have no real reason to go here… well except for RedBox that’s the only thing that has a good selection!

I’ve been going to this store for many years. It’s your typical neighborhood grocery store. The clerks are always friendly and I think the prices are fine. What sets this one apart is its commitment to helping the community around it. Full disclosure — I am heavily involved in a local charitable organization. Save Mart has always allowed us to set up outside its doors and ask for donations. And it’s not just my organization — I’ve seen girl scouts, boy scouts, veteran organizations, etc. Great store!

This store annoys me. Large store with plenty of room, but the organization sucks. I am occasionally lured in by specials, but I do not shop here regularly because I would lose it. I hate the stupid sweepstakes and promotions with game pieces. Can that shit and lower your prices. Put all the frozen food in one section.

Don’t let the name fool you. This place is pretty pricey if you ask me. It’s a good place to stop in for a quick item or two, but not the place to grab everything on your weekly shopping list. The selection is very limited. I tend to have to walk up and down the isles to find something I need– their grocery isles are split down the middle so you tend to wander out of order! Oh, and the lines to check out are always long. short staffed I assume?

Hate this store. Only go here if I have to since its the closest to our house. They are over priced, rarely have what I need when other stores readily supply. Deli meat sucks, bakery sucks! The only good thing is the majority of staff are nice and helpful.

This place is great for a quick stop after I tan next door, but in general, they are way overpriced. Considering they are part of the Bel Air/Raley’s family, I guess I should expect that. The store is always clean and the employees are friendly, if scarce. I do wish things were easier to find in this store though. At times it feels like I am playing a game of Supermarket Sweep.(I still have not found the money!)
