Very helpful staff. Kim helped me. She was very helpful and made sure I was fully educated on her companies process. I had just come from another company that offered me less than $ 100.00 for my ring. Kim looked at the diamond carefully and explained that stones are not what her company focuses on but she was able to give a rough estimate of nearly $ 300.00 for the band and stone combined. So as far as pricing goes, this place does a much better job than their competitors. After reading some of the reviews I was very skeptical but Kim quickly put me at ease. She was very knowledgable and extremely personable. The fact that Kim took the time to fully educate me and advise me that private market would probably be a better option for me, has earned her a customer for life. Any additional precious metal sales I have, I will go directly to The Gold Guys!

We took quite a bit of gold here just the other day. We have a jewelry scale at home, I knew exactly how much jewelry and what karat I had. I also used a scrap gold calculator prior to getting there to give my self an idea of what to expect. I even deducted 20% for profit and overhead to the company which I thought was fair… (Maybe i’m wrong…) But then I arrive… I was greeted by a very nice young woman who took a lot of time to weigh the jewelry, verify the karat, etc… Then she offers me 45% less than what it is worth. I said no thanks and was offered $ 1,300 more from another company. I used a mail order company which I was apprehensive about, got more than what I thought was fair, and received the money by wire the next day. My advice… shop around!!!

No Stars. Do not go here. They seem very professional and polite, however after getting an appraisal, they are either trying to rip you off or they just do not know what value/​karat of metal you bring in. I brought in a platinum ring, at first they said it was 14K white gold, until I said something. I also brought in 22K gold bracelet, they said it was 18K. Their motto is «We give you more…» Not true. I took my jewelery somewhere else and in total I got $ 700 more than what they offered.
When selling your gold and other metals, definitely shop around for the best offer.
