Grateful Table pulls off quaint without coming off as cutesy. You may come in for a quick cup of coffee or tasty Rishi tea, but you will find yourself coming up with excuses to stay because of the chef-quality pastries and delicious smells coming from the kitchen. I’m not a frequent visitor to the eastern suburbs, but if I were, I would be a regular here. It is only a matter of time before the locals discover this place. Prices are incredibly reasonable, given that they emphasize a natural menu and bake everything on site. If you like pastries, you MUST come here. Usually bakeries of this quality are a little pretentious and oh-so-pricey. Not so at The Grateful Table. You will receive a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a free refill on your coffee. And seriously, if you just want a cup of coffee, you will be greeted with a warm smile and a reminder to come back for your free refill. No sideways looks urging you to purchase more. In truth though, you won’t need prompting from the staff to purchase more as they let their warm personalities and the food speak for themselves.

Love. Excellent attention to detail. Sandwiches aren’t complicated, but are very well balanced and just delicious. The daily soup was a beef vegetable which was richly flavored. I also got a mocha which was very well executed and the coffee was great. I’m not from around here, but when I do come by this will definitely be a lunch staple.

Simple menu, but Wow! Delicious! We had the chopped chicken sandwich, and tomato basil soup. The flavors were wonderful! The bailey’s irish cream cake was light, moist, and made me want more. The coffee was smooth, and rich. Service was friendly. I’ll be back.

Do yourself a favor, skip the Starbucks/Caribous/DunnBros of Roseville and stop in at Grateful Table instead. You’ll be glad you did. Great baked goods and the owners are very nice. Vegetarian? Try the veggie omelette croissant, amazing. Only reason not giving it six stars is that it’s not open on Sundays, a time when my family is often interested in stopping at a café/bakery.

Excellent. Found this place on a whim this morning and was delightfully impressed. Pastries, muffins, and coffee were exquisite. Will definitely be returning to try their other menu items. Delicious. This family owned place is a true gem in the pile of chain restaurants in this area. Please support them! You won’t be disappointed.

This such a great place to get a delicious pastry and coffe. They also have fabulous soup, salad and sandwiches. When I moved here from Dinkeytown I was sad and missed all the fun places that are in the city. This unassuming little place has helped me feel a little better about the ‘burb. The owners bake everything themselves and work at the shop. They are friendly and really want to know what you think about the food. It is all delicious! We have tried almost everything and would order it all again. Just think about the best French pastries you have ever had… that’s what you will have here. Selection diminishes as the day wears on but since everything is delicious that is not a real issue.

Really charmed with this unsuspecting place. We ordered the turkey bacon cheddar sandwich, quiche, and sides of chicken wild rice soup and a salad(with homemade olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey dressing). All very tasty — I would think the quiche would be perfect to take home and freeze. We also got coffee to go and it is premium stuff — I would absolutely recommend it for a coffee stop as well as breakfast/lunch. Lots of pastries to choose from for dessert — and as I understood it, they make it all themselves. Surprisingly, during the lunch hour they had quite a bit of foot traffic for a Wednesday!

I was in the area and wanted to try something quick, but different from the usual fast food. I had the quiche Lorraine which comes with a small side salad. The quiche was the best I’ve had in the Twin Cities. The eggs are light and fluffy and not over cooked like most quiches. The bacon is delicious and flavorful. Since they obviously know how to make quiche, I decided I needed to try dessert. The selection was good, but not overwhelming with choices. I went with the opera cake. Again it was amazing. It was a small piece, but just the right size to have after lunch. I was disappointed there were no almond croissants or I would have gotten one of those for a snack later, but got an apple chausson to go. It may not make it home to have as a snack for later.

What a darling way to wake up! I found this little nugget by total coincidence-if I believed in coincidences! I had separate business purchasing product from a connected restaurant business. My GPS led me here. Before both feet hit their café floor 2 women called a greeting out to me. I LOVE that! It means you want me here & you enjoy being there yourself! I spoke with whom I assume is the owner. She was very genuine & good ol’ mama-like. As my head was turning each & every way in awe of how quaint, cozy & cute the place was. I shared my thoughts with her. She told me she was going for simplicity– no unnecessary bells & whistles. Yaaass muffin! You’ve done well! Although I was on a tight schedule I couldn’t indulge in the well stocked arrangement of treats, sandwiches, salads & beverages. I did what I came in for THEN was surprised by this same sweet lady! She brought me over a scrumptious little chocolate treat. It was a mini crusted ganache(?) kissed by a smudge of edible gold. She informed me everything is all natural, natural ingredients & pure. Perfect way to start my day. 4 stars only until I get to spend some time here for breakfast/lunch. I saw with my little eye they have quiche! Congratulations on your first month open! I’m «grateful» I found you! I shall return.

Wonderful service, they took great care of us. Delicious things we tried: spinach & feta quiche, Norwegian salmon sandwich, omelette croissant, Rishi cha, iced coffee. Great flavors. The hard boiled eggs on the salads were«perfect!». Like they said: «If it’s butter, it’s butter. If it’s cream, it’s cream. «made from scratch. Desserts? Yes please! Chocolate praline tart, fruit tart, lemon meringue and chocolate éclair. Let me just say that at a table of 7, 3 of which were children, there was silence as we savored! Sign us up as regulars!

Great new spot. I had the quiche and an Americano.
