Kudos! ! ! My Dell server(an older one) went dead. I thought it was the power supply, but later found out my entire motherboard, RAID card, etc. was fried. So I called Mark(it was after 6:00 p.m. Central, so I used the emergency number). Mark talked to me, assured me that all the parts were in stock and he could ship things out the following business day. Originally, I was going to buy just a power supply and system board. But Mark spoke with the engineers and they came up offering me a complete system(less the disk drives) that duplicated my system exactly. And, they could do all of that and get it to me overnight. And, at an extremely reasonable price. I went for it. The server arrived the following morning. It looked identical to the failed one. I swapped out the disk drives and then realized I didn’t know what I had to do so salvage my raid configuration since the old RAID card was fried. I called Mark. NOPROBLEM. He emailed me a link to a video they had created walking you through, step by step, rebuilding a working RAID array onto the new controller. Did exactly as the video said and, PRESTO! my system booted, Exchange server started working, emails that had piled up went through, etc. To top it off, I was working with the unit still disassembled. I had a blinking amber«trouble» indicator. I called in, got an engineer(Dylan) on the phone. When I told him the case was open, he directed me to a small button on the front panel I hadn’t noticed. When I held it in(as would happen when the front bezel was replaced) the light went green. The following day, I got an email from Mark making sure all was well. I don’t know about you, but when I have a root server go down, my blood pressure goes up and I CANNOT relax. I’m fearful I’m not going to get things running and lose a ton of data. These guys are aware of that. That’s why they make themselves available 24⁄7. They are great about the technical stuff but they also understand the anxiety and stress and handle it fabulously. Unlike all those«we can get it to you next week» companies out there, they deliver NOW. My ONLY regret is– I’m in California and they’re in Minnesota. I WISH there were somebody in Los Angeles that I could go to when things go south. But there isn’t. So I’m sticking with these guys.

When manufacturers say, «oh, that’s out of warranty. We might not be able to get you a part. We’ll let you know in a few days,» then you call Velocity. They have the parts you need and NOW. I have called them multiple times for replacement parts for servers and every time they have come through for me and I’ve had clients back on line within hours, not days or weeks. I keep their number handy always. Their customer service is the best, bar none!

Saved the day! Seriously. Ann from velocity tech solutions is a hero. We had a server go down and could not find the part we needed anywhere. I called their after hours support line and within an hour I had the part in hand. Great service. Great people. Great company. I will be contacting them for all of our server parts needs.
