A newer Walgreen’s to the chain which is competing with CVS to see how many stores a region can handle. They are the every corner equivalent to Starbucks in Manhattan as for saturation. I review outdoor parking when I review and this store has a square lot entered from Larpenter and a quick scan showed no one lurking and staring or sitting in their vehicle smoking and staring at who’s entering the store, gasp no chance of being accosted here for drugs.(See Mpls review of Walgreen’s on Central ave). The inside is roomy and well planned with the biggest sellers on the far wall from the door as they use a little strategy to get you to walk across the store and do some impulse buying. There was something different here. No music! Quiet for a change, hey I grew up in the heavy music era but do we need every store to blast the same twenty-five light rock tunes a day? Perhaps this was just a temporary silence as I’ve only been here once but it was appreciated even it meant their system was down.
