West Wind Apartments

Lived there for 2 years at two different apartments. Sad to go, but my husband and I just purchased our first home. I enjoyed living on this property, Rich the handyman was amazing, never had a problem. I am already missing the great location, the complex is two blocks from the freeway. Staff is friendly, I enjoyed the professional nature of management. Plus, Laurna gave me an awesome reference for carpet instillation for my new home. We left on very good terms.

I love this apartment! The area is super quite, the neighbors are friendly, and Rich in maintenance is wonderful. Rich actually saved my son’s life once. My son decided to go for a bike ride by himself once when we first moved here. (He was 4). Rich saw him as he was about to go onto Cirby and brought him back home. He truly goes above and beyond. Oh yeah, he is really great about fixing any issue that you have in you unit. Usually that day or early the next day.
I also like the ground crew. They come every week and keep the property looking nice. They also let you landscape the area by your apartment to your liking. I love having an area where I can actually plant flowers IN the dirt!
The only issue I have had was I tried to sneak in an extra dog and did get in trouble. But really that was my own fault. Word of advise, Lorna WILL notice if you are trying to be sneaky. But I actually look at that like a positive. Don’t want anyone trying to build a drug lab!

I have lived here for 2 yrs, only moving out because of commute time. Great place to live! I only had 1 problem with the apartment and it was fixed immediately.
I see on other reviews that people had problems with management, I haven’t had any issues they have always been helpful and courteous.

I’m into my 5^th year at West Wind, and have found this to be a comfortable place to live. The mature trees and well-​landscaped grounds are noticeable feature when you first see it. I know the management & maintenance crew by name and have been responsive in taking care of repairs, usually within 24 – 48 hrs. The grounds are maintained professionally on a weekly basis. I live near the street, and except for some slight street noise, it’s a quiet complex. The patios and balconies are almost twice the size of most apartments, and laundry is easy as each building has a laundry room. It’s best you come by and see it for yourself.
