This is more of the relaxed and intimate dog parks compared to the Bear Dog Park on Woodcreek and the RRuff Dog Park in Rocklin. I don’t come here too often because most of the dog here are on the older side and the owners don’t like when younger dogs play with their dogs because they prefer to play fetch or just sit and chill with their dogs, even though you would think you bring your dog to the dog park to play or gallivant around with other dogs. On the other hand, there are times when the playful dogs are out, which is around 5 – 7 on weekdays. The park itself is decently sized— grassy but it can get really muddy. Unfortunately, for such a small dog park, it isn’t well maintained; the sides are pretty much full of feces, so watch where you step.

Not bad. Lots of grass but kinda muddy. Small area for small dogs. No place to sit unless you’re in the large dog side but there’s only one bench. Not too much shade. Kinda lonely here, I’ve been here twice and were always the only ones.

I’ve come to this park many times now to watch friends play basketball, and I’ve found that it is very nice. Clean, well lit at night, and has a small dog park. The dog park is pretty cool. I’ve taken two of my big dogs there and noticed they have a park off to the side specifically for small dogs. It’s a nice place, but they should put in some benches by the field or the basketball court because there are always people out there watching games.

For some reason the City of Roseville website claims that the fenced off dog park is 1.5 acres. I was there last month and that park was the size of my suburban backyard. Smallest dog park ever. This is the newest of all the Roseville dog parks but the 35 acre park that surrounds it trumps the dog park itself. At the time I went, there were only two chairs. TWOCHAIRS people! I would much rather walk the dog at the Hughes park trails rather than take her to the dog park. Maybe the dog park is still a work in progress and maybe by summer it will be 1.5 acres but as of last month it was more like 0.2 acre!
