Moe’s Home Service

A job Moe promised me that he could have completed in two weeks took over a month to do and he still haven’t completed to this day (and he was paid). Everyday I had to check in with him on the status of competition of the job. He made excuses from him being ill to issue with his family for delay, which shouldn’t have anything to do with him finishing the job when everything was being completed by someone else or contractors. Only after I had to get upset with him about what he told me and promises of what he could do and wasn’t done is when things started to come to some completion. The work that was completed in my house to my satisfaction BUT I’m still without a shower door after 2 months of listening to his excuses about the door being ordered, the person lied to him, it has to be special made etc. it went from 5 days to over a month. As of this day he still have not tried to rectify the situation as business person.

Moe is a great guy. He is through, honest, reliable and meticulous. Over the past few months Moe has redone my kitchen, bathroom, painted the exterior of my house, installed new sliding doors, and built me a screened in porch. During some of these projects, when asked to do a little something here and there, Moe gladly did it gratis.
In this day and age, it is a breath of fresh air to find someone as dedicated, skillful and honest as Moe. He is not only my contractor, but he has b
ecome my friend.

I will NEVER use Moe’s Home Service again!
2 weeks of a job turns into more than a month and still not finish. Bathroom wall tiles are not even, didn’t grout the floor after replace bathtub and toilet, didn’t touch up the paint after replaced the cabinet and bathtub.
Excuses are such as:
I don’t work on Monday and Tuesday, I have an accident, my crews’ car broke down or I have another job to work on.
He is very defensive and never admit his mistake, to the point that he has to blame his crew for the mistakes.

My husband and I had waited a while to do the floors in our remaining bedroom because we were concerned about the time, money, and hassle it would take to get them done. (The floors were previously a very unattractive and unwelcoming carpet color.) After a couple years, we decided it was time!
We looked at several vendors and came across Moe. And man are we glad we did! Moe made the entire experience painless and completely worthwhile. His bid was very competitive and he was very responsive throughout the whole process. He even went the extra mile the match the wood we had in another one of our bedrooms. His guys took less than 2 days to float and install wood flooring in 2 bedrooms and they came out absolutely stunning! They were thorough, clean, and very respectful. Although Moe did not perform the job himself, he came by the check on them frequently and made sure we were comfortable with the process.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we were happy we went with Moe. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgable in many areas of the trade. We highly recommend him and will be definitely using him again soon! Thanks Moe!
