I used to love this place for breakfast lunch or dinner. They had a Dj and the best bartender and cooks.
Someone was shot there and everything went downhill quick.

This place is just ok. I only come for breakfast tacos but have also had their nachos & quesadillas. The nachos melted cheese was stuck to the to-​go container so I basically had chips I doctor when I got home. Their salsa are good. I would come back & eat inside but has a very dark feel to it, even during a summer afternoon.
Oh, and the bar is situated in an odd spot in the restaurant. Blink and you will miss it.

This is my little morning spot i love the coffee and breakfast. its just perfect!! The waitresses are so friendly and so is the atmosphere. Great place if you are looking for some good chilaquiles and home made tortillas and i love how they always serve your chips and salsa warm.

Dropped in for two breakfasts tacos. They were on point. Not awesome but what you expect. Decent price point and the wait for a take out wasn’t bad. Staff was friendly. Will try them for dinner and expand the review.

We have tried to find a local spot to love. After eating here four times we have come to realize this isn’t it. The food is average but the wait staff act as though they could not be more unhappy with serving «we» the customers. On several to go orders, we were shorted and decided not to go back. I doubt if these comments make any difference but thought I’d try.

What?! I didn’t write a review for them until now? Oh my! Let me begin, here, by saying that they have THE BEST REFRIED BEANS IN THE GREATER HOUSTON AREA! This is far from an overstatement, and I’ve had a lot of Mexican food (most likely Tex-​Mex more than Mexican; this is Texas, you know). A friend told me that they make authentic Mexican food, so this is probably why their beans are SOOOOO GOOOOD! If you are familiar with my posts, I rarely use all caps with this amount of excess, so let me end this yelling saying ORDER THEIR REFRIED BEANS if you don’t order anything else.
Moving along, I tend to order their small veggie tacos which come with pico de gallo, avocado, and a side of salsa verde y red salsa (failed attempt at Spanglish, no?). Their salsa is alright, but tastes better combined with the aforementioned foods. Their guacamole is not highly seasoned, so you can go to work on it, if you’re like me, when you get home. Minus caps this time, did I mention their refried beans? :-)

Only been here a few times for breakfast, but it’s always great! Service is sometimes slow, but friendly. Prices are cheap way for all the food you get. Will try lunch or dinner soon!

I absolutely hate eating in the waitresses are so rude. I’ve sat down and it’s taken 8 – 10 min to get a waitress to pay attention. Utensils have to always be asked for and 3 times out of 5 my order is wrong and god does it take forever to get it fixed. Ordering to go is what I’m mostly down to now a days. The main reason I keep coming back is because there is no other Mexican place around. Their breakfast tacos are pretty good and so are their fajitas. I don’t order their aguas frescas because they taste like they’re made with tap water and that to me is just plain nasty! My advice order to go or be ready to deal with the attitude most of their waitresses have.

I had high hopes but this place fell short. I love tortas so this place is near me and there is no other taqueria close. The beef torta was not good. The fajita meat was hard and fatty and the avocado was brown. It lacked flavor you can get at Taqueria Mexico. The chips were stale and salsa needed more cilantro and kick to it. They also didn’t have the good juices other taquerias have. The music was way too loud and the service was lax, and it’s a bit higher than other taquerias.

Good food, reasonable prices. More on the authentic Mexican food side than other chain type establishments.
Service is usually pretty decent, we haven’t had a negative experience here yet.
Friday and Saturday they have a $ 2 margarita special, and they make them STRONG.
Definitely would recommend this place on the weekends if you don’t want to go to a super crowded establishment. They also stay open til 1AM on the weekends.
Really my only complaint is on the weekends they have a DJ, so it can get kind of loud in there.
