I like every sandwich on their menu but yesterday the Phillips Steak became my favorite. There Bloody Mary made the lunch even better.

Upset that our bill had a built in 18.5% gratuity and we had to go to the bar 3 times to get our own beverages water was served in plastic cups. Food was ok but sides are small and tips don’t go to the staff

Went in mid afternoon for ribs and BBQ chicken. Unilocal reviews did not disappoint. Everything was super yummy. Cole slaw anb baked beans tasted homemade and very good. Bartender and server appear to be the owners. Cant go wrong w the BBQ if you come on the weekend.

Had a wonderful dinner, BBQ ribs. One of the best I’ve had. The owners(husband & wife) were very friendly. We will definitely go back.

Apparently only does fresh BBQ on Saturdays and Sundays so I tried the cod fish fry and my wife had pulled chicken. Fish was heavily breaded squares of frozen fish … Nothing special. Chicken was tender but little flavor. House BBQ sauce was runny and too sweet. Sides were small. Cheese curds were not homemade or fresh. DOESNOT take credit … ATM charges you $ 2.

Went here on Dec 15th, and the BBQ was the best I’ve ever had. Both the ribs and the chicken were smoke to the bone and came off the bone with ease. You’ve got to try this gem!

While the bbq is only fresh on weekends(plan ahead) the daily offerings are always good at. this fine example of a great smalltown tavern. The gumbo is good.even.with a roux that is too lite(and no okra) but we are up north! The burgers are first rate with a decent bun too. Good selection of beers on tap(but no Oso!) and nice assortment of bourbons and tequila too great stop if you are in this part of Wisconsin(closed Mondays)

This is an AMAZINGBBQ house combined with a bit of Cajun influences. Everything is home-made and delicious. Very interesting rub and of course, in true Wisconsin fashion, a Friday Fish Fry!

The tiny town of Rosholt, WI has a hidden treasure: The Brick Pit House. Come here to enjoy some very solid BBQ, along with local brews and blues on the jukebox. My pulled pork sandwich was heaped with a generous portion of the pig, tender and delicious. I liked that the sandwich was served with house made BBQ sauce on the side, a sure sign that the pit master is confident of his product. The sauces(a sweet KC style and a zippy NC style) are house made, as is nearly everything on the menu. I will definitely be back to sample the ribs, which are only available on weekends. If you are ever in the area, you need to give this place a try.
