I can only speak for Dr. Kaleroy Papantoniou, she is absolutely the best dermatologist i have ever been to. I only wish she were in the Albertson office. She is far from me at either the Queens or East location. But, still for her care, I will travel. The Queens location has no parking, so next time i will go out East, further, but for parking it will be worth it. SHE is worth it! Didn’t push ANYTHING unnecessary on me, whether cosmetic or drugs. She followed my lead of looking first for diagnosis, and then trying first whatever i could that would be the natural solution — and she was beyond knowledgable. To top off all of that, she made me feel like she had no one else waiting for her in that busy office — I never felt rushed even a bit. She took me seriously about any concerns, and was just the loveliest person you can imagine. I don’t do many Unilocal reviews, but as I found out about her through Unilocal,I had to pay it forward so others could know!

I have been taking my son to Dr. Fox for the past two years and I am very happy with the results of his various treatments. He is under his care for acne for which I am happy to say is almost 99% gone. He is presently undergoing laser treatment for the removal of freckles on his face and after only one treatment we can see a great improvement. Dr. Fox is a great doctor and has helped my son thru his already tough teenage years feel great about his appearance.

I had considered seeing a dermatologist for my skin condition years ago (but put it off like I do most things that i think are temporary). Well my skin condition got worse over the last few years, and I realized that it was probably not just a temporary issue. I went to a dermatologist in the plainview area and wasted a good year trying prescriptions, over the counter medicines and other useless treatments that were temporary at best. Doctor Papantoniou was recommended by colleague who had previously seen her for some type of laser procedure for her neck and face. I really did not want to see another dermatologist given my prior experience, but she showed me her before and after pictures and at the very least I saw some great results, so I relented and made an appointment (the one slightly negative thing I will say is that I had to insist on seeing this doctor several times before they gave me an appointment two weeks out.) When I went to the office, it was very clean and very busy. I waited approximately 20 minutes to see doctor Papantoniou. She was not what I had expected. Very friendly, very patient, and very thorough. After a few minutes of exams and questions and answers, this doctor pinpointed my issue, and laid out a therapy plan for me to follow. I told her about my prior experiences and she explained that diagnosing a problem can sometimes take time and that I shouldn’t be discouraged about what had happened in the past. Well, it took her no time, so I call BS. It is a few months later and my condition is no more. I spent 10 minutes with this doctor. I will follow up for a checkup just to make sure everything is 100%.

Athough they were very accommodating, I brought my daughter in twice, she was seen by 2 different doctyand given medication both times which made her condition worse. Completely misdiagnosed. I was very disappointed

I thought that the doctors were ver good there. Dr. Troccoli is the doctor i would highly recommened

I had a very bad 2^nd degree burn in my right hand. It was awful I was told to look for a plastic surgeon I called Advanced Dermatologist and the receptionist was very nice and told me I should really see a Dermatologist.
I was lucky that she gave me a appointment with Dr Troccoli.
He was very caring and most important he really knew what I needed to treat my skin.
After almost 9 months my skin is almost like new only a little red which Dr Troccoli is treating. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Troccoli he really is a very good doctor and if it wasn’t for him I don’t think my hand would have turned out so well. My friends are amazed I don’t have any scar.
I highly recommend him for any kind of skin problem he is great and he takes his time to listen and really see which is the best course of treatment.

This office is brand new, eye appealing, always clean, brand new state of the art equipment that you won’t find in any of the other Advanced Dermatogy offices, they actually have parking, and they have a great office staff. Now my review is for Dr. Kaleroy Papantoniou. I actually use to see other doctors in the fresh meadow’s location a while back and wasn’t really satisfied with their services until I met her. All I have to say is that she’s very professional, excellent service, and shes the best, no offense to the other doctors but she really is. She’s great at what she does, whenever I would see her she would take her time dealing with me with whatever procedure I get, and what I love about her is shes honest with me. Dr. Kaleroy Papantoniou doesn’t ever try to sell me anything that I dont need, if I have a question about anything that I feel that I need she would be honest and let me know if Its necessary or not for me. She takes her time too which is great because other doctors in the past would come in and rush through my appt, write me out a prescription real quick and try to sell me anything discouraging me to ever come back. She may be young but she’s extremely positive, knowledgable, and passionate towards her profession, her dedicated work ethic is a perfect example of that. Any office can be brand new and have high tech equipment but if you don’t have a person of her skills and professionalism then that office will be unsucessful. I give this office a five star rating because of her, and will continue to see Dr. Kaleroy Papantoniou. She’s my go-​to dermatologist/M.D. and I highly recommend her to everyone, Thank you so much Dr. Kaleroy Papantoniou.

In July I visited this office with a skin rash that appeared in red circles all over my legs. The doctor (female, pregnant lady, with a Greek last name) did a biopsy on my leg but never was I aware or told that this will be a pretty deep cut in my leg and that it will potentially leave a scar. I think it’s important to make the patient aware of consequences and communicate that. 3 months later I still have pretty noticeable scar and feel uncomfortable to wear shorts. She also prescribed a cream that I applied topically for 2 weeks and my rash only worsened. It wasn’t until I saw a regular MD who had me on cortisone and solved the problem.
