Wow what a treat! Food was exceptional. Nice menu selections. Reasonably priced selections. Will definitely be back when back in the city. Oh, ask for Nathan.

Location: Crossville Rd in Roswell Fav Item: Deep Dish Pizza — Positives: I love this place, very nostalgic. Deep dish pizza is so doughy and delicious. — Negatives: very heavy meals. — Overall: I like this place; however, they’re usually so heavy I can barely walk out the door lol.

Food here is ok… But what kind of place only has a baby changing table in the ladies room? Do dads not change diapers??? I’ve never been to a «family friendly» restaurant without a fold down table in the men’s. I guess next time, I’ll change my kid’s big poozy on the dining table.

The food is good but the lunch specials are tiny. The side salad should be called a micro-salad.

Oh Alessio’s, what has happened to you? We have been to you countless times for years, and today was so disappointing. My husband had the stromboli and that was really good because he ate the whole thing. I ordered the Veal Marsala and was so disappointed! There were two very tiny(maybe 4 – 5 oz. at best) pieces of what was supposed to be veal in the middle of the plate with a bunch of brown sauce and a bunch of canned mushrooms. Definitely a big zero on presentation. It tasted pretty good, I guess, but I have had better. My biggest complaint is how they can justify such a tiny portion for $ 14.95? That is just not right. I get that it comes with two garlic knots and basic spaghetti, but it was barely a kiddie portion of veal at best. I said something to the waitress and the manager, but the manager just said he didn’t set the prices and that veal was more expensive and that the«new» owners had raised their prices. I have noticed over the last several years the portion sizes of certain entrees and the salad especially have been made much smaller. I truly believe it is an attempt for the owners to make the most money by squeaking by the public tiny portions and thinking they do not notice. Word to the owners… you are shooting yourselves in the foot because people do not want to come back if they cannot get a full belly from your tiny portions for higher prices! My son had the chicken parmesan which was overcooked and just uninspired. For a tab of $ 61.00 and change, it was not worth it. We will not be back because there are just too many options for Italian food that give you more, better quality and charge less. Actually, we have stopped eating out for the most part and now use Blue Apron and eat at home. Much more financially sensible and much better quality.

Will not be a place I will ever go to again. When I got my hot wings with celery I couldn’t do anything but lmao. I had read someones review on here that said they they got dirty veggies with a bug on it. Low an behold when I look to see what the black spot is… It’s a damn knat! Pizza was not good either to mushy for my taste definitely not a good eat.

Better than average. The interior is very run down. The carpet is extremely nasty and worn with holes in it throughout. Service was somewhat slow but tolerable. Not amazing service but the food was good. Beer was flat so definitely don’t get a draft.

A better than average pizza. Had their stromboli for the first time. Pretty good. I might have given this a higher rating except the service was extremely slow. They weren’t busy and had plenty of staff, but our wait person(Erin) was extremely inattentive.

Quality, fresh and great service! The manager, Amanda, runs a tight ship, always friendly and engaged. We are regulars for both lunch and dinner. Excellent hot wings too! Best fresh salads and iced tea! Highly recommend to all.

We had a very nice visit here. Waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu was very diverse and had lots of options. Classic rock music was great and the food was tasty. We had the white tomato basil pizza and it was delicious!!! We will certainly be back!

Our neighbors rave about this place: «The Pizza is great, the beer is cold and the prices are reasonable.» OK, so we went. All true(although I didin’t have beer. It looked cold, and they have Peroni on tap… encouraging authenticity signal.) The neighbors had the ravioli and lasagna. One of them just had shoulder surgery, and it was fun to watch him eat the ravioli fast with his non-dominant hand. Must have been pretty tasty. Janie and I had pizza, which is available in regular crust or Sicilian(deep dish). She had the Manhattan meat. I customized a cheese pie with my faves: pepperoni, sausage and jalapenos. Took some grief from the tablemates about japs not being authentic. Hey, head down and eat your own food. Who cares if I get my vitamin C this way. The pizza was pretty darn good. I had a couple of glasses of Mondavi, which was decent and not skunky. High points: 1. Our server, Taylor, was only on her second day and was terrific. We would never have known. It was evident she was happy to be working there… or maybe just working. Doesn’t matter, she did a great job. 2. The staff genuinely seems to like working there and get along well with each other. If there’s rancor, you can pick up that vibe and it makes things uncomfortable. 3. High CPR(Cold PIzza Rating, which is why I’m writing the review on the day after). Hey Alessio’s, with a crust that’s a teeny bit thinner, you get the fifth star. Will be back regardless.

Love this pizza. We always ask for ‘thin crust’(NYC style) and have never been disappointed! Crispy and light. My husband and I ate the whole pie it was so good! We come here weekly just to get our ‘fix’ of great pizza without having to pay for plane fare!

Place needs a good cleaning. Food and service are inconsistent. I think they need a change in management in order to return this restaurant back to better days. I await the changes.

From reading the posted Unilocal reviews and by my visit, this joint is quite popular and has a loyal local following. The crowded restaurant would certainly suggest that the popularity is well-earned. On the basis of my one visit and one pizza, I would go again, but I wouldn’t talk other people into going. My pizza(the all-meat version with added mushrooms) was severely undercooked. I knew when the pie was delivered to the table that it wasn’t «done»…individual shreds of mozzarella sat on top, barely melted. The pizza was very watery and the bottom of the crust was barely brown… like it had spent less than half of the necessary cooking time in the oven. Seriously, eating the slices was like eating a thawed frozen pizza, the uncooked and unrisen dough detracting monumentally from any gastronomic delight. We ate about half of the thing, took the rest home in a go-box. The slices peeled off in layers the next day when I tried to remove them from the soggy box. The calamari, conversely, was absolutely delicious. Lightly battered, fried just right, and accompanied by a delicious dipping sauce. The garlic bread knots were small bundles of failure, seemingly made out of pretzel dough and also undercooked like the pizza. I expected a completely different type of yeasty bread, so I choked down one of them and let the teens snarf the rest. Our server was great… efficient, personable, and not overly bothersome, as some staff are at busy joints. The bathroom(men’s) was clean and opens into a tight corridor that makes door faceplants to passersby a real possibility. As I said, I would go back and I would eat another pizza, but I would make certain that I wanted a «well done» pie that was thoroughly cooked.

Alessio’s has a solid following and frankly, I’ve never seen a pizza place as busy as this place. Pizza is NY style. We ordered two pies: pepperoni and white — and both were very good. The«large» salad was really just a medium — so we ordered two, to feed the three of us. With pizza places coming and going, it’s clear that Alessio’s has a foothold on the local market. I’ll come back.

This is an outstanding neighborhood pizza parlor with a throwback feel. Part of a local chain. Has multiple tvs, booths and tables with that red checker tablecloth, and beer and wine to boot. A family place for a low key meal or hanging out after a sporting event. Nothing special about the food, Mom and Pop pizza and Italian fare. It’s not bad, but if you are looking for ultra NY or Chicago authentic this isnt your place. Highly recommend as THE neighborhood pizza parlor in Roswell.

I’m a little surprised that this pizza parlor only has three stars? My husband and I have pass by more than a few times and its always busy with your big and small families, parties and everyone in between. This past Saturday, I was feeling pizza-y and my eyes lit up when I saw that it wasn’t overly busy so, we decided to go in and have a few slices. We started off by getting a pitcher of amber bock, which was delish and great that they have more of beer selection than you usual budlight and miller highlife. So, we’re off to a good start!!! We ordered the bruschetta with mozzarella and I have to say not only was it good, the sauce was fantastic!!! And I’m not a sauce person(on a personal note I’ll be coming back and getting some sauce to make homemade pizza) I had to ask the waitress to bring another side of sauce for the pizza. We then ordered the white pizza and for a meat lover like myself I kinda frowned at the selection that my husband made but said what the heck and I am so glad I did because it was once again out of this world! The crust was soft yet crispy and the white sauce was delish, we dipped it in the marinara sauce and loved it even more! While there we had three big screens to watch the infamous Bull Dog and Crimson Tide game and noticed that there was a game room in the back. I have to say all in all this is a great place you can come with your family, a buddy or a gal pal have a slice of pie, drink some beer and watch the game of the day. Service was great and very friendly we’ll definitely be back! Five Stars no complaints =)
