O.M.G. This place is to live for. Everything, the food, the fries, the burgers, the atmosphere and décor, the service, the m.o. everything was perfect. If you’re picky too, go knowing you’ll love it.

Went around 1230 on a Tuesday. Was busy but they were efficient. Service was friendly. Like we read, parking is not good. They even have a shirt to prove it. No kids menu. My husband and I had the burger w avocado and chiles($ 8, I think). They weren’t stingy with the avocado or the chiles. It was tasty with good amount of heat. Boys had the original($ 6). Daughter had a salad($ 5). Three types of fries for $ 3 each; we got one of each… sweet potato, regular, and garlic. Each came with their own dipping sauce. Regular had thousand island(I’m guessing), sweet potato had a spicy ketchup(yum), and garlic had sort of white sauce. Only bad comment, the garlic fries were cold and not so good. We were in a hurry and they were packed so we just ate them. Otherwise, would recommend.

I ordered the green burger and garlic fries. The burger was pretty good with the green chili’s, but the fries were covered in garlic powder. And I didn’t even see any little green men running around.

Great food. One of the best steak sandwiches I ever had. The fries were good too. You have to order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The only thing I wish they had was draft beer.

Staff is nice, the food was a bit expensive but there was plenty of it It just wasn’t as good as some of the reviews suggest

The perfect place for s great lunch. I had the lamb gyro with garlic fries, it was amazing. The garlic fries were oh’ so good! The lamb was not greasy and had a wonderful flavor from the marinade they used. Great place :)

Good food. Came out quickly. Well executed but I was disappointed they had nothing alien themed. No I’m not kidding. For he record I did not dock them the star because they weren’t alien themed. I came for the alien theme but still found the food good. Roswell needs more alien themed restaurants.

I just noticed that I didn’t make a review for this amazing restaurant. Let me put it this way: On my way home to Albuquerque, I was about 25 minutes out from Big D’s with my to-go order and I was able to get around to taking a bite of the pork belly sandwich I ordered. I was so amazed that I immediately turned around to go back and buy two more to share with friends once I got back to Albuquerque. There are some amazing culinary delights in the state of New Mexico, but this one is by far the best bang for the buck. If you don’t go here if you travel through Roswell, you’re making a HUGE mistake.

The babe ordered the gyro. I ordered the tomahawk burger. He wouldn’t recommend his but I’d recommend mine. Especially since he kept eating off my plate. The fry bread was tough to cut but not chewy. I liked their black bean pico(minus the onions) We ordered the garlic fries. They were tiny so hard to dip in ranch without dipping my fingers in too. I’d recommend the cream soda. Their tabletops of maps are a neat touch.

Loved this place!!! Unilocal has not failed me yet. Loved the atmosphere here! First time here and I decided to order the chicken Cobb salad. Amazing!!! Wish I lived closer to this place. The ingredients were very fresh which is always a plus. The only thing they need here is more parking.

Visiting NM to see a school for my son. We stopped here as they had the best Unilocal reviews. We tend to not go places with less than 150 reviews or less than 3.5 stars. This place offers amazing flavors. Rich, smokey. Layered. Even though it looks like like a folksy dive, and prices are cheap, the flavors are nuanced ad memorable. We ordered Texas Burger, BBQ Chicken flatbread, Salmon Salad, and Monster fries to share. The salad and flatbread were good. The apples on salad were crisp and freshly sliced, thw apple freshly sliced, and the salmon well flavored. The flatbread had a nice smoky flavor, and my son ate all of it — despite the«vegetables» on it(salsa).. .. But.. . MONSTER Fries. — OMG, messy frie bliss, with bacon, salsa stuff, some creamy dressing and cheese, and some other stuff. I know I am not using the correct terms here, but regardless, these fries were amazing. Texas burger OMG beef/bacon foodgasm. Enough said. You gotta try this place if in the area. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in on our way to Albuquerque from Carlsbad Caverns and were met with a great staff and better food. Sorry no pictures we were so hungry and the food was so tasty it was gone before we remembered to snap some pics. I had the burger with guacamole and green chili(sorry can’t remember the exact name) it was excellent. The slogan«make burgers great again» that they have on shirts is fitting. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and it looks like Roswell is the king of this sandwich. Philly come have a look at how it should be done. Good beef, grilled veggies, melted cheese, New Mexico green chillies and an excellent bun. We also had the sweet potato fries and the garlic fries mmmm. Excellent all around with some fresh pomegranate tea to wash it all down. I look forward to our next trip through Roswell.

Every time I’m back in Roswell, I HAVE to get Big D’s. Their menu has changed since the last time I visited, however. My staple order is the breakfast burg(bacon cheeseburger with an egg and hot sauce on top) with sweet potato fries. I was a bit disappointed to find that the burger was on a bagel rather than a normal bun but still enjoyed the flavors.(Make sure to have a roll of paper towels if you order the breakfast burg! I usually get an egg-splosion all over myself when I get it!) (Sorry for the pun I could not help it) But whenever I know someone is visiting from out of town in Roswell, I will continue to sent them to Big D’s.

Totally ordinary place trying to be something special. The salmon salad was straight out of a bag of baby greens, the gyros meat portion was microscopic, and the fries were lukewarm. We were totally disappointed.

Surprisingly excellent food! I don’t give five stars lightly. The appearance lives up to the«Dive» in the name, so don’t be put off when you walk in. No menu on the wall, so look for a pamphlet on the counter. Had the Angry Hippy, but with aged cheddar(suspicious of whatever«white cheese» is). Really good, and vegetarian. Wife had chicken tortilla soup and the bbq chicken flatbread. She rated both as very good. The soup was properly spicy and sinus clearing. Pico De Gallo was also really hot. Chocolate Pot De Crème was great as well, thick and dark chocolately. Overall a definite highly recommend for visiting aliens and humans alike.

Delicious! Probably the best food in the area. My gyro was amazing and so were the garlic fries. My fiancée also loved his tomahawk burger. I would absolutely recommend going here if you’re ever in the area!

Extremely delicious food. Love that they have 3 different types of fries but they need a kids menu the burgers are huge. I had the Turkey Cordon Blue with sweet potatoes fries. The Chipotle Ketchup was very well paired with the sweet potato fries. My mom had the Wholly Gucamole Burger with Garlic Fries. Not sure what her dip was but it was good too. Will be back again for sure. Definitely a place Guy from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives needs to visit.

Stopped here while passing through NM and Big Ds made me want to stay just soley to have another meal here. I got the burgher, which was simple and done right. This isn’t a place to expect anything fancy. The staff and environment are what made this place shine. So personable, great service!

They have the most bright hatch green chilies at this location that I tasted anywhere in NM. Toddzilla makes a mean burger but even they could not match the green chilies of Big D’s. The burgers are tender, seasoned, and dressed accordingly. The only thing that was a bit underwhelming were the parmesan fries. The parmesan didn’t stick well to the fries, so they just tasted like any other fries you can get from any diner. However, you cannot get these burgers anywhere else. A must on any visit into Roswell. It gets busy in here due to being downtown, but the customer service was awesome!

Excellent find here in Roswell. Very casual, and a good menu. We stopped for lunch on a Wed, and the locals were crowding the place which is always a good sign. I had the Breakfast Burg, and wow, a greasy, dripping mound of goodness. I ordered one without the cheese. The first bite into the burger with fried egg was great, and then the mess followed… A good mess. If you like breakfast burgers, this is your stop. Had the garlic fries and could not stop eating. They had bottled sodas, and the ice tea is complimentary. My wife and daughter had the Good Ol Burg, which they enjoyed… When in town again, we will visit again.
