APPRECIATED I really appreciate having this discount store in this area even though I don’t live anywhere near it. However, I recognize that it is sorely needed. There are a lot of apartments located along Holcomb Bridge and many of the residents have to walk to the store and when you add in little kids and the heat, this can be very challenging. The store is always well stocked with snacks, baby products, patio furniture and accessories, household items, personal care items, furniture and other items. The employees are always very nice and available to answer questions. While the other stores tend to close earlier, this one actually stays open until 9pm, even on Sunday.

There’s nothing exceptional or special about this Big Lots – it’s pretty much what you’d always expect. Slightly dingy looking floors that have more to do with age than actual dirt, surly employees, and cheap prices on snacks, kitchen wares, and anything in-between. It’s the kind of place you only shop in to get something in particular(I was looking for cupcake pans), or to try a new snack(their veggie straws are very good).

I stopped by this Big Lots hoping to find some bargains, and I did! They had Gillette Razor refills for only $ 10 a box(usually $ 16 at CVS), and that was super exciting! They had various scrap booking supplies that were super cheap. They also had a bunch of seasonal things for Halloween and fall, at cheap prices. They have a whole section in the back with nice furniture at discount prices. I saw a bookshelf that was tempting me, but I decided to wait it out and think about if I really need it. They have several cashiers so there aren’t really long lines, and they also have a HUGE parking lot. I will be back!
