These Ladies are amazing! Don’t even bother getting alterations done at the bridal store. I should’ve taken it here in the first place. After paying 500 $ at the bridal salon for alterations (bustle, hem and letting out on the corsage). I took my dress to Irena because I was unhappy with the fit. I told her what I wanted it to look like and she totally agreed with my idea and was completely honest with me. 1 month later the dress fit perfectly! I even bought my Veil at Irenas Alterations. Do yourself a favor and take your dress here.

Just a fantastic experience. I brought a Lilly Pulitzer dress in for some alteration and to add a seam at the waistline. I wanted to go to a place that would do an excellent job on my dress. After reading other reviews, I felt comfortable bringing it to a place that frequently does wedding dress alterations. I can say that the service was great and I am so satisfied with the outcome. I am already planning to bring another dress in!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Coming from a family of seamstresses, I knew it would be hard to come by someone whose work is as good as what I’m used to. They are incredible here. Brought in 2 bridesmaids dresses that needed some alterations, one more complex with the way it was draped. In 2 weeks I had both back and they fit perfectly, and the price was much less than I had anticipated. Will be coming back again without a doubt.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I cannot even begin to explain what incredible work Irena does. I had bought my wedding dress on sale and straight off the rack. It was a good few sizes too big and needed a lot of work. I went for my first fitting and began to panic that I had made the wrong decision buying my dress as I just couldn’t imagine how it would look even after it had been altered. Needless to say I was absolutely over the moon when I went back to Irena and after just one fitting my dress fit like a glove. It was PERFECT! I could have cried with happiness — Irena had made it fit my body perfectly and changed the original spaghetti straps to beautiful, lace straps. It felt like a different dress! I still have another fitting to go and am stress free knowing it is already perfect! Thank you, Irena, for turning my gown into my dream dress. I would recommend Irena’s Alterations to EVERYONE!

Irina is masterful at what she does and INCREDIBLY reasonably priced. We had two dresses and a wedding dress altered for my wedding, and all three came out beautiful. I will never go to any other alterations place as long as I live in Georgia.

Bought a dress online that turned out to be a tad small on the top, so I got it taken out a bit, as well as having the hemline shortened (I’m 5’2). Irena and her staff did a great job on my dress; fits perfectly now! She’ll definitely be my go-​to seamstress!

Irina did a fantastic job on my wedding dress alterations. I purchased my dress right off the rack, a few sizes too big, so there was quite a bit of altering to be done. After the first round of alterations it was nearly a perfect fit and took only one more fitting. She moved up the satin waistband up to my true waist and adjusted the bodice to an absolute perfect fit! I felt totally secure in the strapless dress and didn’t have to pull it up once the entire day. She also did a beautiful job on the bustle, which converted my long train into a totally danceable dress for the reception. We were so pleased with my dress that my dad has started taking his suits to Irina as well. Would definitely recommend!

I always get quick and easy service, even when they are busy. Their work is great and is always completed on time.

The alteration was good, but the gown was returned to me wrinkled. I asked if they normally steam the dresses and she said maybe she could do that. Then she asked if the wedding was local (it’s not) and suggested I borrow from the hotel instead. I have never paid 35 $ for a simple hem and received the dress back wrinkled. My usual seamstress was on vacation, but I will be bringing my business back there for sure.

I had a sewing issue and was given helpful professional advice suggesting I could do the job myself. Generous. Practical. Honest

A wedding day is the brides most memorable moment in her life. I was concerned with leaving my dress with anyone, but after reading reviews and recommendations for Irenas I decided to trust them for alterations on my wedding dress and I’m so very thankful I did! I also referred my coworker who’s getting married and needs to make alterations to her dress too. Thanks Irenas for the amazing alterations and making my dress fit perfect and fixing the missing beading on my dress! Now I can really look forward to my wedding stress free! Happy Bride!

I wanted by daughters’s first bday dress to be altered. It was a tutu dress shipped from Dubai by my sister. The dress would not stand up tight and kept dropping off from my daughters chest. I found this place based on good Unilocal reviews and gave it a try. Irena knew exactly whats wrong the moment I showed her the dress. She patiently read the solutions suggested by the designer of the dress (on my phone). Most people will show attitude as to they know better and would not even care to listen to what u are saying. But this place is different and her team is too good. It needed a shoulder strap and elastic over the crochet to keep the dress up. When the dress was ready, I tried it on my daughter and it needed some more work, they were happy to do it right away and now it fits my daughter perfect. I would not complain about the price as their work is good.

My dress was too small for me just a few weeks before my wedding. Irena knew immediately what needed to be fixed and had pins in place within 2 minutes of my dress being on. I still wonder how she managed to match this unique color of fabric! When I went back, she felt it could be taken in a little and made further alterations on my dress for no additional charge. She clearly has a passion for what she does and is relentless at striving for dress perfection. Her prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend going here first.

I came here for a wedding dress alteration based on good Unilocal reviews and convenient location. I made a total of 3 visits to make sure my dress was perfect for the big day. The staff was very helpful and made recommendations about what needed to be done initially. I was especially happy with the altered French bustle — it looked beautiful in pictures and was VERY easy to maneuver the day of the wedding! My appointments there were quick, and the quote she gave me originally did not change even after additional visits and changes to the dress. I highly recommend getting wedding dress alterations done here!

Over the years, Irena altered two wedding dresses for me. She and her staff are incredibly talented and experienced! They also work fast without compromising on the final result. I plan to bring other items here for alteration.

The ladies are amazingly talented! They listened to every little request I had in my alterations. They were patient and their work is amazing! I’m posting my before/​after of my wedding dress. They basically remade the top! So impressed and I highly recommended them!

I was referred by The Bilt House on Canton Street. I’ve had numerous garments tailored here since then, and I recently had slipcovers made for 2 red (rather out of fashion) leather «cube» ottomans.
Upon my first visit, I was impressed by the precision that underpinned every aspect of our interaction. That precision earned my immediate trust and confidence. And over time, I’ve continued to value it. Production lead times are clearly communicated and met. Costs are reasonable. The shop is clean and organized. The employees are kind.
With every project I’ve had them help me with… they just «get it» — I never wonder if we really understand one another. And they deliver! They even have amazing penmanship on their hand written claim checks — an art in itself.

I have been going to Irena’s for about 7 years and have never had a complaint. She does very very good alterations for a very good price. Really do a nice job matching thread and style.
I will now buy clothes that aren’t a perfect fit if they are a good price because I know I can go here and get them perfectly altered and it is all still less than buying full price.
Her turn around time isn’t super fast but I would much rather have a great service than something fast and rushed.

Irina is a miracle worker. The boutique I purchased my wedding dress from recommended Irina’s for all my alterations needs. Irina is honest, has a great eye and understands fabrics. She has very reasonable prices and a pretty speedy turn around time. She was able to accommodate all of my alterations requests and got everything done (perfectly) in a very timely manner. I’m definitely recommending Irina’s for all your professional alterations needs (she really knows her wedding gowns) and also for your everyday alterations (can’t beat her prices).
