Laurelanne

I took vocal lessons with Laurelanne for a year. Overall the entire experience was awesome. I started lessons with her when I was 25, and although I had been in musical theater a bunch I’d never had any formal training. Laurelanne was so helpful in pointing out and changing the not so great habits I’d picked up over the years, while encouraging me to pick songs that fit my own voice. It also helped me increase my stamina, as I used to get extremely winded when singing. She was a great and patient teacher, who really helped me understand the basics of improving my voice.
I think the best improvement of all was my confidence. I was auditioning a lot at the time, and having Laurelanne work on a song with me and help me with tips and tricks made a huge difference. I was sad to move away, and therefore lose her as a vocal coach. But the experience was a fantastic one!
