We love Menchie’s! Whenever you are craving icecream, Menchie’s is the place to go. Located in a perfect place by the Blue Agave and Marco’s Pizza, this is a great place to get a dessert or a small snack at. The owner and employees are VERY friendly, and always are very welcoming. Sign up for their rewards site!

Visiting from California and my family wanted desert, so I checked Unilocal and found something familiar; had no idea they were a national chain. Place looked exactly the same, similar flavors, however my next statement is something I’ve not said since moving to Los Angeles 10 years ago. It’s was literally twice as expensive than what I usually pay, as normally it’s the other way around. .52 cents per ounce, you’ve got to be kidding me!!! BUYERBEWARE, not sure what competitor froyo costs, and you may not have much is the reason why, but what a complete rip off! Hey owners, quit gouging your unsuspecting customers. I know for a FACT you don’t have to charge this much because your fellow franchisers don’t in a much higher cost of living location.

This place is great the owners are super nice and staff is always very friendly, the people complaining about kids should really stop, it is across the street from an ELEMENTARYSCHOOL… are you oblivious or just stupid… not a yogurt snob myself, but the traditional a are good and a good variety… my kids love it and he out door seating is really great. Overall no complaints and lots of fun! Plus the 5 dollars off for every 50 spent is awesome!

I have been to multiple menchies location and love frozen yogurt. However this menchies location has about half the flavors than are offered at other locations. I went with a friend tonight for a late night snack and two preteen girls were repeatedly getting up and scooping the toppings into their hands… where were the employees? It seemed very unprofessional.

Love Menchies. Put please more friuit favors. I understand why you need all the kids flavors. But can you also always have peach, lemon and berry?

While their selection of Froyo is not as large as at other Menchie’s, all the flavors are delicious and they have all the toppings to go with the Froyo. This location also has a great outdoor eating area, with flowers and shade, that really puts it over the top. The big problem is that this location is 5 minutes from our house, so we’re going to have to amp up the willpower or ramp up our exercise schedules.

I was on my way home the other night coming through Roswell and I was about to pass the Menchie’s where I created my legend(read my previous review to get up to par on the story). I wanted to see my pic on the«Wall of Fame» so I decided to go in all non-chalant for old times sake. The place was empty, and I went right to the wall. Low and behold– who in the hell was on the wall? I couldn’t believe it, they took my picture down and put it up with some other crap! Call me a sore loser if you wish, but the pictures were of a family that made a 103oz yogurt, and some other family that made a 93oz yogurt. I felt shafted for 2 reasons– A) they had a team effort(where as mine was solo) and B) I ate the ENTIRE thing myself, in one sitting, whereas these people just made it for show. Anyone can make a huge yogurt if you can afford it, but the real challenge is eating the whole thing! Minus 1 star. I just got a small yogurt this time, and I saw some new additonal toppings, which is cool(to stay competitive with other places). So I was ready to check out and the cashier asked if I had a MySmilage acct(Menchie’s Frequent eater program), and I told her yes, but not on me(they can use phone number lookup, as I have used before). She completely ignored my statement, and then asked if I wanted to donate a $ 1 to autism(which I did, it was the only good thing to come out of this visit) research. Minus another star. Crazy how I am not sure if I just keep getting unlucky with patronage or what these days… I was almost tempted to go in there and make a 128oz(yes, I am capable of consuming it) yogurt, but then I realized, they aren’t worth the business any more. Harsh– I know. I think my froyo days are over…

I have always loved Menchie’s. I was first introduced to the company while living in Los Angeles and I loved it. When I moved I was heartbroken that I no longer got to indulge in frozen yogurt. Then I found out that this place had opened. I am a huge fan. My favorite flavor is the red velvet cake. I add mochi, white chocolate chips, and granola. Sinfully good. Comfort food at its finest!

I have been to this shop a few times since it debuted in the Roswell area. It is a great addition to the neighborhood! During the summer, it is always crowded or more so a hang out spot for all ages. The environment is nice. It is small, but let’s remember it is a yogurt shop:) This location does have patio seating and two tvs inside. The yogurt, also called«froyo,» is good. My favorite is cake batter, peanut butter, and tart. I am a bit health conscious so when I want something sweet, this place pops too mind. One think I will this yogurt shop has that the others don’t is warm sugar free fudge syrup!!! You can throw as many toppings as your heart desires. So go crazy if that is your thing, just remember that you are paying by the ounce unless you purchase pre-packed yogurt. They have plenty of sample cups. So you can taste all the flavors, if you like; well at least I did and I wasn’t shame:) Menchie’s does have a frequent customer programs!

I had never been to Menchie’s before and was excited to see this location open so close to the house. I’ve become a big fro-yo fan although I still prefer ice cream. Atmosphere– Typical fro-yo…lots of kids, friendly young workers, fun setup with self serve yogurt machines and toppings area. Yogurt– I tried 5 different types in one cup… chocolate, cappuccino, cookies & cream, cake batter and french vanilla. I’ve learned to keep them separated as some don’t mix too well together. The yogurt was average-good but not the best I’ve ever had Toppings– Lots of candy bars to choose from, gummys, fruit… loved the topping choices. Price– I prefer these type of places that charge by the weight. You really get more bang for your buck than some other places. .very reasonable. Overall– Even average yogurt is good to me with the right toppings and I’m sure I’ll be returning several times to this location. Expect it to be busy or you might get be frustrated with the madness of kids running around. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Love this place SO much and have turned so many others on to it — To me, it’s way better than the other similar places — great yogurt, TONS of choices, and a super cute space!

Brain freeze averted due to dental frostbite: The increased density of this yogurt really holds the cold to the point of painfulness. My teeth are not usually this sensitive to frozen foods(my wife is a dental assistant and won’t tolerate such), so this is the only explanation that I can see. The texture is also a bit like a sorbet. I can’t imagine eating NINEPOUNDS of this stuff before it melted(this is the approximate record held per the photos posted on their store wall) as the resulting brain freeze would be excruciating. Not to mention the danger of dropping your core body temperature. My cold and texture comments are meant more as preparation than as a negative. The yogurt is of good quality and the flavors are of appropriate intensity. I don’t think this place will replace my current favorite fro-yo establishment, but it’s a worthy opponent that happens to be a tad pricier and farther from home. However, it does have some unique offerings such as a much wider selection of toppings(e.g., cheese cake bites) and a good selection of syrups and sauces(e.g., peanut butter). You can also get a waffle cone for your frozen yogurt, of which their are fat-free, no sugar added, and Kosher choices. They even offer tiny sample cups for tasting before you choose what’s going into the official«tub.» When testing the various flavors you have to be quick as the sample cups fill almost instantaneously. Luckily, napkins are nearby for slowpokes although there is no water fountain to be found. Menchie’s offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with the patio being equal(if not slightly larger) than the modest interior. The patio also has gas heating poles for cooler weather(although I had difficulty visualizing a February visit while waiting for my teeth to thaw). This is a newer shopping district with beautiful landscaping and architecture so the store couldn’t help but be clean and welcoming(as were the staff). As with other fro-yo businesses, the interior is sanitary with lots of smooth easy-to-clean hard surfaces and lots of glass windows that will probably reflect sound harshly when full of customers. You can escape the cacophony outdoors or get the small room for private parties which is at the back of the store. There you can substitute your own noise with either the wall-mounted TV or dragging your fingernails across the chalkboard that is across from the big window looking onto the access hall. Sure, you could just write«Happy Birthday, Leroy» on it instead. But the screeching chalkboard is much for useful for reviving Leroy from his brain-freeze induced coma.

i like it way too much. Great selection of flavors. Love all of the toppings including the syrups down at the end of the topping bar. Place has been very clean whenever i have been there. Cashire was very friendly. Yes it was crazy there last night. Lots of kids and people. I certainly can not support the place by myself. Every one seemed respectful and pleasant. I go to the Menchie’s in Duluth in back of Stoney river. I like Menchie’s much MUCH better than Stoney River. There is a honey baked ham next to Menchie’s.THey have a large patio and when the weather is nice we will sit on their patio to enjoy our frozen treat.

I’m not a fan of Menchie’s at all. I’ve been a few times and every time the place is filled to the brim was small, noisy children and pre-teens. It’s not a great atmosphere for enjoying a frozen treat. The frozen yogurt is average at best. The crazy flavors — cheesecake or red velvet cake — mask the natural, delicious flavor or pure yogurt rather than enhance it. And that’s all before you put on an amalgam of toppings and add-ins. I’d rather enjoy plain, tart frozen yogurt than this stuff any day. Nevertheless, Menchie’s seems to have garnered a large and devoted fan base in suburban Roswell between high-schoolers and elementary children visiting after school from Sweet Apple across the street. They surely don’t need my business(and the yogurt is expensive, too! I’ve seen a few people spend almost $ 20 on three yogurts, and I’ve heard that a $ 10 yogurt is not uncommon).

The frozen yogurt is nothing special. Basically a place for the breeders to hang out with their offspring.

Cute little place up in Alpharetta. Their selection is typical of these types of places. They had everything from regular vanilla to red velvet cake with some interesting combinations that included peach and ginger. What I like is that I can put as little or as much as I want into my cup. I exercised self control and my treat was just over $ 2.00. A great place to go on a hot evening.

Yo, Yo, Fro Yo for the Masses, that’s what I’m talkin’ about, sucka. This place let’s a brother pull there own trigger and load up on the flava, flava. And I mean flava flava, because the flava’s here are doubled into swirls and each one is mighty potent. This aint no lilly white fro yo like yo mama’s place. The fro yo here is pungent, bro. Too pungent for this brother’s taste, tho, so that’s why I took away a star. Da flava’s over the top. I like how they let a brother take a taste before you fork over the dolla. Runs real smooth too, just like the fro yo, and gets the traffic in and out,. Ya serve ya self and then weigh out ya load. Just like they do down in the hood. Give you a little taste, then hope you get hooked on their big old pints, amirite. Then you be takin ya fro yo all regula like, and bringin ya peeps in too. That’s what the place looked like on Saturday. Watch out tho, cuz they got a .44 on their ounces, and the rats are all saying, take me to Minchies and Make My Day.
