After having more than enough of my previous eye care professional, I went to see Dr. Hewitt on my dad’s recommendation. If there are any perks to having cancer, it’s the fact that the man now has a recommendation for pretty much every type of doctor there is. I really liked Dr. Hewitt and the rest of the office. She was polite, quick, and volunteered information rather than having to extract it from her like pulling teeth. For example, I had no idea that I’m a good candidate for Lasik surgery and if my prescription doesn’t change in the next year, she’d recommend me for it. Who knew? The rest of the staff was equally nice and none of them gave me the creeper vibe. The last thing you want is to be stuck in a dark room when you can’t see well with a guy that’s setting off your creeper alarm. Okay, maybe some people enjoy that, but I digress. I’m sticking with Dr. Hewitt and hopefully in the next year or so, I won’t even need her to prescribe glasses or contacts for me.
