New to Georgia I called RedFern for an estimate to clean up two Bradford Pear Tree’s that were damaged during the ice storm in February. Azur came out within one day of the request spent time explaining options for the two tree’s plus others. We just bought this house in June of last year and appreciated his knowledge on tree maintenance. Katrina sent the quote over the next day and literally the following day Azur scheduled the work. The team came out yesterday ³⁄₂₁ and spent 4 hours here. They did an amazing job (Juan was the lead) trimming 7 tree’s in total and hauling out all the debris. Great service and attention to detail. I hired them to take down a tree and also to clear some weed growth along the edge of my fence (5′ wide x 80’long). They did a great job of taking down the tree but a miserable job of clearing the land. I asked them to clear the weed and vine growth so I could sod the space, and all they did was take a chainsaw and cut off the weeds/​vines about 2″ off the ground (it took 45 minutes) and charged me $ 375. When I talked to the owner, he said if I wanted it to be all gone, it would have taken grading work, which would have cost much more. When I asked for the quote, I told them to get rid of all the growth. Cutting with a chainsaw didnt cut it. It has been 3 weeks and the vines/​weeds are over 1′ tall already. So, morale of the story is, hire them to take down trees, but don’t hire them for anything else, they aren’t competent and will not address your issues
