good thing the name is «star pizza»…bc it is only worth 1 star. the worst customer service ever. the owner hung up on me when i tried to calmly explain the many problems i have had. the delivery driver is always late. words cannot explain the frustrations this place has caused me.

After getting our order incorrect a VERY, VERY rude driver was dispatched to bring back our correct order. The jerk of a driver made a big deal about the fact that they didn’t charge us for extra mayonnaise and got an attitude with one of my co-workers. My co-worker told the driver we would not be ordering from them anymore and the driver yelled back, «Don’t order, we don’t need your order!» Not to mention the order was 25 minutes late on top of all of that. NEVERAGAIN will we order from Star Pizza!

Love this pizza. Been going here for years and just now decided to write a review. The Mediterranean pizza is AWESOME and the deluxe is equally as AWESOME. One of Roswell’s best kept secrets.

Late by over 2 hours. No sauce on sauce on pizza and over cooked. Got one star because the driver apologized. No second try for this place. We didn’t even get it for free.

I was skeptical at first, but after almost a year of living right across the street I had to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised! So far I’ve tried the pepperoni and the buffalo chicken. Both delicious! And the prices are great! I’m a new fan, and couldn’t be happier since it is so conveniently located.

Yes. I mean it. This little disheveled jewel on the Marietta/Roswell line is a diamond in the rough. The owner and staff(most family, I suspect) were friendly and courteous, and the pizza was outstanding. Hand-tossed dough, with ample toppings for a ridiculously low price. I can’t believe it took us this long to find it. Give it a try. You’ll love it.

We loved, loved, loved their pizza. For a long time. Then I found wood chips — as in, mulch — in the sausage on our pizza. Picked off the rest of the sausage, found more questionable items under the cheese. Stopped eating at that point but the damage was already done. By morning we were all violently sick with food poisoning. Made the restaurant aware, they didn’t seem to care. My next call was the public health department. It’s a shame. Haven’t found better pizza anywhere.

I have to say I am SOINLOVEWITHSTARPIZZA!!! I live & work close by I order from them all the time. I am from NYC and we all know we know Pizza and Subs well there pizza is just like back home and the Subs WOW!!! My son just came to Atlanta from NY and I sent him over there to get the meat lovers pizza and he couldn’t believe how good it was… He even said walking in the place reminded him of in Pizza Joint in NYC. And one last thing the guys that work in the Roswell location you can not get better customer service then them . Valerie G.

We order lunch in for our employees on Saturdays and we are never disappointed in their food. The pasta is first rate! Salad is made with fresh lettuce — NOTICEBERG! And their pizza is excellent. They

Star Pizza has the best pizza in Georgia. I grew up in an area with a lot of first and second generation Italians, and because of that the pizza of my youth was high quality and distinctive. For ten years after I moved to Georgia I hated the pizza no matter where I went, because it just never tasted right. And then I tried this little pizza place down the street from my house, and finally I found what I’d been missing all those years! I don’t know if its the ingredients, the quality, or the way they cook it(maybe all of the above?), but finally I found real pizza again. The man who runs this location is super nice and the pizza is ready quickly and made consistently the same(perfect!) every time. I love this place and it will be my first choice for great pizza every time.

I walked in with my daughter and god daughter one evening for a quick bite to eat. The stench of what smelled like body odor, garbage and gym shorts was so offensive, that I turned around, got everyone in the car and drove off.

I am giving an extra star because I love the dodgey interior. Otherwise, nothing special. Too much bag cheese on a cardboard crust. Nothing special about the sausage or the mushrooms. They do have a lot of toppings to choose from! The crust is pretty substantial so I bet it holds together well if you order for delivery or take out. I guess I should try the cheesteak!

There are so many good pizza places, so I haven’ that had here yet, but I have to say the cheesesteak is pretty good. If you are looking for 100 percent authentic, they only get a C+ as I believe they grill the meal, but put it on the roll and toast it in the oven. Also they put mayo on it, which I’ve seen at a few places around town. Still, it’s better than most around town and certainly good enough to go back.

After spending a night of painting we were starving and looking for something quick and good. Star Pizza was there to deliver. Other experiences have been okay, but this time it was pretty amazing. Their meat lovers pizza was great. The bacon and pepperoni were crispy and the combination of flavors was right on. We also tried the garlic rolls. Very good and garlicky, definitely better then the breadsticks. All and all a great experience and I will definitely order from here again.

You think you know, but trust me, you have no idea. This is a bargain pizza joint that has a similar vibe as the cantina scene from star wars… weird. Get yourself one of their lunch specials, 2 slices and a drink, or a slice, salad and drink for under $ 5. The pizza is good, however, I’m more of NY purist type, so I can’t say it’s the greatest, but it’s filling for the money. The thing you go to star pizza for is the alternate universe you enter upon crossing through the doorway. There is a fine phở-brick theme going on, with a coffee sign that I’m pretty sure belonged to the place that was there before. The cash register… ah the cash register, let’s just say you help them out if you pay with credit, as you generally get the«handful o’ change» grab bag type approach if they have to break any form of currency. There’s a key involved in opening the cash register too, which is another great process to witness. The staff is… interesting, all with their own subplots going on, I’ll let you discover those though… and just wait till you wander to the bathroom/storage closet/possible extra living quarters. All in all, it’s fun quirky experience if you dont mind the weirdness, and like a slice of pie for cheap… I’d stick to the pizza too if I was you.

STAR is a hole in the wall that happens to make some of the best pizza in town. If you’re in the area and hungry, give them a shot. The lunch special gets you two huge slices(2 toppings each) and a drink for $ 4.82. After a quarter of a beef + bacon pizza and a tankard of root beer, I’m usually ready for a nap, but it’s oh so good. They serve other foods, but I’ve never tried any of them. I’d suggest just getting a couple of slices and eating yourself into a pizzacoma. The crust is perfect(sort of a medium thickness), the toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the sometimes surly/sometimes friendly staff are part of the entertainment. I’ve introduced at least 30 friends and coworkers to STAR over the past few years, and it’s gotten a thumbs up from every one of them. Check it out if you’re anywhere near Roswell. I even had my pre-birthday-party meal here a couple of years ago(fuel for WhirlyBall!), and they were very accommodating. Give them a call, let them know you’re coming, and you’ll pretty much have the place to yourselves in the evening! There is another location down on Marietta Hwy, but I can’t comment on that one.
