Cute store, fun gifts & selection to choose from but HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I seriously don’t know what these women’s problem is? Unless you look like you’re über rich and dripping with cash to spend, the ladies in this store won’t give you the time of day. What they will give you is an evil eye and a snub. I used to come in and purchase Thymes products but after the last rude in-store encounter I decided to buy my products online WITHOUT the extra mark-up charge. I’d say save yourself a trip and find somewhere else to go, or at least can someone please make these women that work here learn how to smile???

I really only went into the Chandlery because it was one of the only shops on that little stretch on Canton where INC is. I have made a few purchases-mostly at Christmas. The merchandise is average at best. Vera Bradley type things. Nothing nice. The Christmas décor was cute, but better items found at the painted monkey. The real problem here(as if the merchandise isn’t problematic enough) is the service. The last THREE times I was in there, I stood at the counter with hands full and was not spoken to. Not a hello, I will be with you in a moment, nothing. Meanwhile they had time to wrap items for people who weren’t anywhere in sight. Now, I work in the customer service industry(in a place MUCH busier) and I manage to greet every client. Maybe they need pointers. In any case, the service at Painted monkey is far superior. Don’t waste a dime at the Chandlery. I won’t. Hopefully they close and we can get a nice gift shop that isn’t stuck in 1985.

This is a great, local store in downtown, historic Roswell! They sell all sorts of upscale home décor, seasonal decorations(and an excellent Christmas selection), fashion, gourmet food and some children’s items. They offer classes several times a month that can cover everything from wreath-making to table-scaping to planning your wedding. The Chandlery is celebrating 35 years in business this year and it’s easy to see why they’ve been around for so long. Great customer service, attention to detail and a wide variety of offerings aside from just retail make this must-see location whenever you’re visiting Historic Canton Street. If you sign up for the email distribution list you also get monthly coupons and notifications about special events.

Great little store. Nice assortment of home décor, holiday décor and children’s stuff in the back. They also had some brownie bread out, which was great. Great place to walk around and find that random piece of art or gizmo that you have been looking for.
