Stopped in today as my front tire had been making some noise on the back dirt roads we have here in western LOCO. They were busy but said they thought they knew what the problem was by my description. They took it for quick drive, returned, jacked it up, and tightened whatever was loose causing the noise. They took it back out to make sure the issue was fixed (it was). I asked what the fee was assuming some sort of diagnostic fee. No charge. what? He said he was just glad they found the issue and fixed it when they did as it could have caused a major issue with my car had they not fixed it. WOW. Side note– we have used them several times before and have been super helpful and awesome on other occasions but today just blew me away. There just aren’t folks out there these days like this. Thanks for the great service!

Absolutely worth the drive from Leesburg. I had what seemed to be a relatively minor (but important) issue with my 2001 Subaru and was worried about taking the car to a mechanic and receiving a laundry list of repairs and charges that I would not be competent to evaluate on my own, not being an car-​savvy individual. I called beforehand, explained the issue, and brought the car in at the time the man who answered the phone recommended. I assumed that it would take a long time, as there were a number of cars outside and in the garage; however, they helped me immediately and sent me on my way in 30 minutes – free of charge. I was impressed that they were: 1) competent; 2) upfront about the fact that my fix could be as simple as tightening a belt, rather than something which required a new part (obviously I would not know the difference); and 3) were absolutely gracious in not asking me to pay. I respect the ethic here, and will definitely encourage my family and friends to take their cars here.

Bobby and company are awesome. I have used them for years. I am very familiar with cars and can do most repairs myself. However, with kids, time has become scarce and I have used Bobby more and more. His assessment is always on target and the repars are always done well at a gret price. He is a really decent and honest man and I would encourage everyone to use him.

So I admit I’m one of those people who just doesn’t pay attention their inspection sticker… there I said it! What does that oversight do for me… well has netted a warning from Leesburg officer to get my butt to the nearest inspection station pronto and a ticket when I was in DC and my meter expired. Yeah, methinks I have some sort of disorder around this part of car care. There is point tied to this, I promise…
Anyhoo…let me drag this on a bit — way out here in the 20 141 we had snow, more snow than I have ever seen in my entire NOVA life. My car was buried, but when we got it out from under its white icy blanket she started right up. Today however I needed to go onsite with a customer and lo and behold rar, rar, click, click… silence.
I called up Round Hill Auto Service and they sent someone right over to jump the car, upon which she made some horrible unexpected noises. I drove her up to the station, left her for a once over, and walked home. Later this afternoon here comes my car… the attendant just says give ‘em a call at the shop. I did, and nothing major so must have been due to sitting too long during this weather. A bill? Aw, just call me tomorrow and I’ll work something up… now that’s what being part of a small community is all about.
Now, to tie this all together — when I «forgot» to have my car inspected I took the car to RHAS — and they laughed themselves silly, inspected my car and laughed some more! Only 6 more months till my next inspection… let’s see if I can remember this time!
