I have always been a Baskin-Robins fan since I was a little girl! But hey have added some thing new to their menu and I have to tell you Oh my god its delicious. They have added Handmade Ice cream sandwiches. You choose the ice cream flavor and the cookie of your choice. They warm the cookies and place the ice cream in between. This is a TOTALYOUGOTTOTRYIT!!!

I always knew it was a treat if we went to Baskin Robbins as a kid. Now I know why. It is sooooooo expensive. A pint of ice cream is the same price you can get a half gallon of regular I’ve cream at the grocery store. I just don’t know how they have stayed afloat for so my years.

This is the first time back since it was mentioned in the Community Impact newspaper that the store had been remodeled, etc. The outside of the building looks really good, great paint job and detail. We were greeted by three very pleasant young men in clean, neat professional uniforms, which, for me, scores very high. The inside was bright, clean and well maintained too. I ordered, what I will call my ‘Grandpa Standard’: 2 scoops of vanilla, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry on top. Though the portions weren’t ‘good old days’ sizes, it really hit the spot, excellent. We do wish that another franchise was further East on 79 towards Hutto. So if you want the real deal BR-31 is the place, don’t settle for soft serve.

This is my first time stopping in to get some ice cream at this location. There is a «now open» sign in the front. Looks like they remodeled this location recently. Ice cream was great and the staff serving the ice cream were very polite and patient. I probably asked to taste a few ice creams before I selected sherbet. Their April ice cream of the month, Sour Patch Kids Redberry, was super sour! I love sour patch kids but that was super sour! I imagined it would taste like the candy, but I was wrong. Try it out if you like sour stuff. The store is small inside. Three tables you can sit at inside and two wooden picnic tables outside. It was pretty quiet in there for a Saturday afternoon, but I liked it since I am not into big crowds.

Under new ownership! Very nice staff who is attentive and super friendly. They had smiles on their face and gave us their full attention. Owner renovated it and has better seating and a better ambiance in general. Clean, friendly, and fast. I will be returning!

I love Baskin Robbins and their ice cream. But the service, particularly on this night, was poor. It’s lucky to get 3 stars. When someone hands you a «Happy Birthday! Please enjoy a free scoop.» The standard response from an employee at the very least should be «Happy Birthday.» And if that isn’t doable for an employee then I would at least appreciate zero attitude when ordering my milkshake(which I paid for). It’s not my fault three people in line ordered the same thing and that you couldn’t make it all at once.

Recently remodeled… we were greeted as soon as we walked in and offered some sample tastings. What else can I say, what better way to end the week while watching the season premier to walking dead with cheesecake ice cream. mmm

Ice Cream great as usual. The turnoff here is how the building seems to be falling apart. Water damage in the walls, etc.

The nutty coconut is pretty good… this building is in need of remodeling.

Ordered a waffle cone – it had been frozen. Tasted like a freezer. Yuck. :(

Service was horrible. I asked for a certain flavor. Double checked order, yet she gave me wrong flavor. Ice cream tastes old.

Order ice-cream, but don’t ask for a cup of water. They are not allowed to give you one…

I’m not so impressed. A small tiny place with pricey ice creams. A lot of flavors to select. I had something. Even don’t remember what I ate. But Ben likes it. Well, he likes any ice creams anyhow. A guy easy to please. :)

The year was 1979, the local grocery store(Safeway in Redmond, WA) sold 6 flavors of ice cream(chocolate, vanilla, neapolitan, choc chip, butter toffee and Lemon Chiffon). I may have only been 5 but I can distinctly remember Lemon Chiffon clearly kicked all the other flavors butts by a mile and a half Sadly Lemon Chiffon was replaced by Choc chip mint and the ice cream flavor that defined my childhood was no more. Until the other day when my 10 year old was raving about his lemon custard ice cream from B&R. I took a sample and traveled right back to 1979, it was the Lemon Chiffon I remembered! So, why only 2 stars you ask? I went there again yesterday and the ice cream was full of ice chunks from where they dipped the scooper and then the drops froze in the ice cream. Look if I want ice cream with frozen ice in it, I’ll reach in the back of my own freezer and crack open the Hagen Daz taking up space since 2002. Back in 1979 B&R owned the ice cream market because they had the 31 flavors and the grocer only had 6. Today, even a 7 – 11 has more ice cream flavors it seems. I’ll be back tho, that lemon custard is worth it, but I’m going in the store next time to slap the water off the scooper first!

Wednesday the local Baskin Robins had a deal, yep a 3 scoop deal for a dollar. I had no idea that this deal was going on. The wife got home and said we were going to go get the dollar deal. Since ice cream is one of my favorite things, you remember you scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream, I agreed to go. Well bust my buttons, we arrived and the line was long, yes very long, I told the wife it wasn’t worth it to wait outside for a long period of time for ice cream. I was ready to go. Well team I got over ruled, the wife said we are staying and getting the dollar deal. Here is her quote: «Ice creams taste much better when it is cheap», hum, how could I argue with that. Well my mind begin to think, the grinding was deafening my first attempt to foil the line was that Dairy Queen next door had banana splits for $ 1.99, she would not budge, so my next brilliant idea was hay we can go to Maggie Moo’s and get what we want and not stand in line, yes it cost more but no line, I had her now. Well foiled again. We stayed. So admitting defeat I stood there for an hour and watched all the little kids running around playing. I told the wife the smaller ones would stop running around the area when one would fall and skin their knee. Yep 10 seconds later a collision occurred and knees we burned and crying commenced. Yep kids are always busting noggins! Yahoooooo ! We finally made it inside, I got three scoops, pralines and cream, pistachio almond, and baseball nut. My wife got baseball nut, pistachio almond and chocolate something. We walked back to the car and devoured it. My said: «See ice cream is better when it is cheap». I agreed. Would we go back? Yes as much as possible.
