My 8 yr old son earned some patches playing football this fall & he asked for a little «Letter Sweater», so to speak, for Christmas. I bought a nice athletic zip up sweater & took his patches to several local embroidery shops to be told they wont do patches. So, I found Lori Duff here on Unilocal!& gave her a call. She was very nice, did a great job with her ‘invisible thread’ on the patches, with a quick turn-​around, & was also very fairly priced! Austin TX, you don’t know it yet but you are truly lucky if you have any need for a seamstress of top quality. Lori Duffin can sew anything whether its a custom window treatment, chair reupholstery project, custom pillows, cushions etc. She can also do alterations on clothing.
How do I know this? Because I used to work for her when she lived in California and as frustrating as it was to be told that I need to unthread the entire project I’d been working on because the seams weren’t straight enough, I always admired her standards and attention to detail. She was especially popular with the local interior designers because she loves a challenge and they knew they could count on her for a fast turnaround and a willingness to work out new innovative design ideas.
