Eye Associates Of Central Texas

What a great experience! Dr. WT Kittleman is very knowledgeable and experienced in cataract surgery. Each visit to Eye Associates of Central Texas, Round Rock office, I was in and out of the office so quickly. From the receptionist at the front office to the nurse staff, everyone was very organized, friendly, yet very professional. Each visit I was treated as if I was the only patient of the day. Dr. WT Kittleman spent as much time as needed for all the questions I had and I was so at ease with my cataract surgery. I had great results the very next day after surgery, even though I had previously had a vitrectomy. I highly recommend Dr. Kittleman!

Due to numerous issues that my wife and I’ve had (CSR, Retinopathy), I was referred to Eye Associates by my coworker. Through this challenging process, EA treated us with utmost professionalism and great resource. It appeared they were utilizing latest technology/​equipments which they had in-​house. Dr. Kittleman was great in providing a thorough examination and ultimately referring me to another specialist (Dr. Nixon) for my situation. I highly recommend EA of CT.

I’ve been going to Eye Associates for at least 10 years. A couple of years ago when I went to the emergency room for a retinal detachment Eye Associates sent an Dr. Labbe over to see me in the emergency room even though they do not have a relationship with the hospital. They then had Dr. Meyer, my regular opthomologist, come in early, an hour before normal office hours, to examine my eyes.
Dr. Meyer was recommended by my retinal surgeon as the person to see after the surgery. Dr. Meyer is rated as one of the best opthamolgists in the Austin area. I’ve been seeing him for continued follow up and regular eye care since then.
Unlike other patients I have never had any problems with the office staff. I just got off the phone from making an appointment with Dr. Meyer. I had to cancel a previous visit because it was scheduled for the day affter I had emergency eye surgery. The person on the phone immediately found the record of the canceled appointment and reinstated it. When I have needed copies of bills I have been able to call and then pick them up the same day. Unlike previous reviewers I find their bills to be perfectly understandable and when I have had questions they were perfectly willing to spend as much time as needed to explain them.
I took my children there when they were in grade school and they still go there now that they are adults. They are a great place to take children.
I’ve seen a lot of opthmologists over the last 60 years: Eye Associates, and Dr. Meyer, are as good as it gets.

Dr. Kittleman is probably a good Dr. I have nothing to compare him to but his regard for your time and his appointment scheduling is the worst that I have ever seen. Do not schedule an appointment expecting anything as a courtesy. You may be called and placed in a room but that doesn’t mean you will be seen in a timely manner. If you schedule surgery, you will be asked to show up at Oakwood 30 to 45 minutes and maybe an hour before you ever get started on processing you for surgery which will take another 45 min. to an hour. In my opinion, there is no good excuse for this lack of professionalism. It may be the Dr.‘s staff but surely he has some knowledge of how completely flawed his system is.

Really a mixed review. I really appreciate the Doc who works with me, Dr. K. Otherwise, I must learn to work with the staff that isn’t quite as spot on as I would like in the customer service department. They do their job. That’s about it.
As far as having to see a specialist, I do recommend the Physician.

I love my doctor here, but I recently took my kid and had to see another doctor. It was not a pleasant visit. Don’t take kids here.
