Jose Painters

I have used Jose Painters for 7 years and have had them paint and do woodwork for that entire time without any issues and they did great work. Until this last time.
We hired Jose Vasquez to revamp a room for a nursery and he did the woodwork and painting – wrong paint this time. When we called to tell him he said there was nothing he could do because he did not have the labor or money to repaint the room. Since we have worked with him so long I offered to pay or the paint and not the labor as long as I could get the receipts for the materials. He came and repainted the room, cashed the check, and I have yet to receive a receipt.
I believe he painted the room with leftover paint from another job because he has not shown receipts for the materials of either part of this transaction.
I would warn against using this company. He is not honest with his long time customers so why should he be honest with new customers.
