I was referred to Alyssa by a friend and couldn’t be happier. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and passed no judgement. I’m a new mom and had no idea how to navigate the breastfeeding world, and Alyssa was an excellent guide. She reviewed holding techniques, how to get a good latch, feeding times/​amounts, and much more. Would highly recommend her to anyone I know.

We already knew that we would consult with Alyssa after our birth whether or not we were having trouble. We took her breastfeeding 101 class and learned a lot, but just a day after our daughters birth my wife was already discouraged from the pain she was having while breastfeeding. She was already considering giving up breastfeeding and just pump. Alyssa came to our house and was able to show her how to get a much more comfortable latch and also pointed out that she had a slight tongue tie that we will be getting remedied. We can’t thank her enough, she is the reason my wife is able to continue breastfeeding our child!

Alyssa is wonderful! She helped me with my first newborn, came to my house and is very affordable. I would recommend her if you’re looking for an awesome lactation consultant.

I was compelled to call on Alyssa for support while nursing my 3^rd child. Even though I had nursed two babies before I had only nursed them up to 4 months and every child /​nursing situation turned out to be different and I was grateful to find Alyssa for my 3^rd journey. We are still going strong coming up on 8 months now and he’s 80^th percentile in weight and the pedi LOVES how healthy and strong he is and is super impressed with my breastfeeding chops at 42! Plus as he grows and his nursing needs change I know Alyssa is just a phone consult (or text at 2am) away which is like GOLD!
Do yourself a favor and make your appointment with her. It is insane how much more she is worth than what these services cost. Piece of mind and support at anytime throughout your whole nursing journey? Uhm… YES PLEASE!
