Once Upon A Child

If I could of given zero stars this is one place I would have. Being a previous SM of a platos closet, I am very aware of the buying process. I understand wait times as well. However if you tell someone 15 mins, it should be 15 mins. They had a young lady sorting my clothes (slow so obviously new). While she was working on quoting my buy, a man named Larry walks back there & says something to her I couldn’t hear, then «Quote n Go». I’m thinking it’s taking too long bc she’s quoting a lot. Then she brings the buy up, without any of the brand new justice clothes with tags, no miss me jeans no lightly worn Nikes and offers me 9.10 for 9 items. I politely take my things & say thank you. I decided I’m upset & should call. I asked when the owner would be in, he was in. So Billy gets on the phone. I tell him about the experience, which he doesn’t seem to care and I’m talking to myself. He tells me the young lady is new & they are working with her, mind you no one helped her the entire time!!! He was there though??? I was told did you want to come back in? Uh no you wasted almost an hour of my time. Then I decided this isn’t going anywhere, so I tell him to have a great day and new year. Check your systems people I leave your stores with $ 50+ every time. I will use the other locations going forward. Bc it’s clear training here means to be left alone to figure it out! The owner of my old store was very strict with this position & you could use some pointers.

I think the map location is wrong. When I used the location in Unilocal with my iPhone it sent me too far north.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. The store is very clean and organized. I shop at resale shops all the time and this is one of the best. Their selection of clothes and shoes are amazing. The majority are name brand and their prices are more than reasonable. You can find major deals there for your little boy or girl.
I also sell my daughters old clothes and shoes to them and I’ve had great experiences with that. They take the majority of my items and give me a great, reasonable about of money (or store credit!).
They have strollers, costumes, swim suits, bows and headbands, onesies, outfits, jeans, shorts, leggings, holiday clothing, short and long sleeve tops, dresses, and jackets of all kinds. Plus a huge toy area in the back. They also have an amazing selection of tennis shoes, boots, tap and ballet shoes, ballet flats, etc… for an amazing price.
You must check out this store if you haven’t already. Love them!

Very rude staff/​horrible customer service. Had no selection what so ever… I definitely won’t be back

I’ve bought and sold here many times. Staff is friendly and professional. Everything I’ve bought here worked fine and was in good condition, they have an email list to notify me of sales. I can return an item within 7 days if the tag is still on it for a full refund. Good selection, including party dresses, winter jackets, dance and gymnastics stuff, shoes, pajamas, and swim suits. Lots of bigger toys like ride-​ons, and smaller selection of miscellaneous. Selling: bring items in a bin with a lid. Anything stained or missing parts will not be purchased. Stuff that’s out of season is unlikely to be purchased. Sometimes things like party dresses are just overstocked, and will not be purchased. No plush toys like stuffed animals. z

My review is based on my selling experience — we had several errands to run and I didn’t have time to shop. But they seemed to have a lot in stock so I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
Had a tub of clothes and a couple of items of baby gear to sell. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The owner called me about an hour later to let me know our quote was ready. When we went back one of the salesgirls returned the items they didn’t want, and gave me the quote for the gear and clothing items they wanted to buy. It was reasonable so five minutes later I was out the door with a check.
I was a bit surprised at the items they didn’t select, the salesgirl said sometimes it’s condition, or demand for type and size.
Pros — the quote is the quote, you don’t get a different price for taking store credit instead of cash.
Tip — sort your items into size and type before you come and pack them nicely into boxes or tubs. Also they have a 2-​box limit for a single trip. (The helpful associate I talked to the day before on the phone let me know about the limit.)
