Master Danela is a fantastic teacher, and he has surrounded himself with incredible staff. Other students show tremendous respect and camaraderie for one other. I believe that joining this dojo has been one of those«pivotal» points in my son’s life, and I’m very proud of the growth I’ve seen in him since joining. The self-discipline, determination, and passion for martial arts has spilled over into other parts of his life. Its a good thing, and worth every penny.

Sabomnim Delenela is an outstanding teacher. He is firm but gentle, patient and kind. My daughter enjoys her Tang Soo Do classes and is eager to learn under RRKA’s tutelage. I appreciate the discipline and self-assurance this particular martial art impart on the kids. Come and sit-in on a class and you will see what Im talking about.

My eight year old daughter has been a student of Daniel Delenela’s for seven months now, and she loves learning Tang Soo Do. Instead of something she is indifferent to, or that is imposed upon her, she asks if she can attend extra classes, and has on occasion gone six days in one week. Daniel is absolutely wonderful with the students as he offers encouragement and instruction. He is exuberant, and a pleasure to be around. He doesn’t just focus on learning the art of Tang Soo Do, but focuses on concentration and discipline. I have a friend with a daughter learning at a different do jang, and I’m amazed at the differences. I don’t want to sound like I am exaggerating, but the other do jang sounds like Cobra Kai from the original Karate Kid! They yell at the kids, parents bring the kids in for discipline and physical punishment, and they require lengthy contracts. Round Rock Karate is reasonably priced, clean, friendly, and inviting. I think Sa Bom Delenela is an asset to our community, and an excellent role model for our children.

Daniel is a great instructor and a fine example of a human being. He makes it a point to remember each and every student’s name, both first and last, as well as the name of their parents. He makes it easy for the kids to feel comfortable in his classes. Daniel is doing a great job at teaching Tang So Do and the Korean words that go along. He encourages his students but does not reprimand them. We looked long and hard for a karate studio before we signed up. I mean it was a couple of years. After meeting with him in person and reading a couple of emails, I could tell that he was an upfront and honest guy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extracurricular activity for their kids!

I recently moved to Round Rock with my family and had been searching for the right Martial Arts school. I had spent several years training in a Japanese style of Karate and was looking for something with similar principles such as self-discipline and a focus on technique. It is my opinion that a majority of Martial Arts schools are flashy and ineffective. I knew right away when I watched the instructor at Round Rock Karate working with some younger children that he was what I was looking for. He is patient and treats his students in a respectful manner. Most noticeable to me with my Martial Arts experience was his excellent technique and natural teaching ability. He is excellent with very young children that can test even an experienced parent! I highly recommend anyone looking for a program for themselves or family member check it out!
