I’ve used this clinic several times over the years and have always gotten prompt, caring service. The nurses are very kind and the doctors are thorough when talking to you about your symptoms and treatment options.
I recommend this urgent care for those in the Austin area who have Scott and White insurance.

DO NOT USE!!! Scott & White has the WORST coverage ever and they make up EVERY excuse as to why NOT to pay your clam. The customer service is absolutely AWFUL!!! If you like to stay on hold for over 40 minutes and then have to call back (because it was too irritating to hold any longer) to be on hold again the next time you call for over 30 minutes and told you either have the wrong department and have to call somewhere else or some ridiculous reason they won’t cover your charges, then go ahead and go with them.
If I would have known this prior to signing up, I would have NEVER done it! Now I’m stuck with them for a year.

I recently had a bout with allergies that resulted in a case of Strep throat that needed immediate attention. I did my research, checked the address and showed up at 0915 Monday morning. The waiting room was clean with comfortable chairs. The receptionist was friendly and professional as was the rest of the staff. The clinic had 2 nurses out sick and computer network issues. Apologies accepted for the 20 mins it took for me to see a nurse and doctor. Usual questions and tests in a clean exam room and a diagnosis. I left at 1000 after waiting for a strep test and short chat with the doctor. This facility met my needs for a no notice medical issue, nothing fancy just nuts and bolts medical care. Prescriptions were called into a local pharmacy with no problems. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I need their services again.

Came to the Urgent Care of Hester’s Crossing @ 5pm & was out by 6. I was also very impressed with the quick & hospitable attention i received from every member of the healthcare team from reception to doctor. I saw Dr. Kim, she was kind, understanding, & offered me several options to care for my problem explaining the pros & cons of each. If the need arrises again for Urgent medical care, & I am not able to get to my primary doctor for whatever reason, I will use this facility again.

An update that’s worth mentioning, a few weeks after our visit I received a bill for $ 60 even tho I had made it clear that I was paying for my visit cash up front without submitting anything to insurance. It took me many phone calls & much aggravation to straighten up the mistake. The office had not billed me properly at the time of my visit, I didn’t owe them an extra $ 60.

I took my wife here because she’s pregnant and I wanted to get her in as quick as we could to get her on Tamiflu. She enjoyed the visit, everyone was nice and didn’t take too long. They tested for flu, but said the instant test wasn’t very reliable, but gave her a prescription for Tamiflu since she was pregnant and does not regret it. The next day they called and said she tested positive for Flu, I’m so glad we went. great service.
