Very good food, mostly a take-out place though. If you’re new to Indian, get: Garlic Naan(garlic pita bread) Chicken Tikka Masala(tastes like chicken in tomato basil soup) Chicken Tikka(grilled chicken, dry, healthy) Navratan Korma(like veggie creamy soup) We go 2x a month.

Love the paneer tikka masala and the kadahi paneer. The Panner saag is average. The garlic naans are super soft and fresh. They are a must have.

I’m not really sure how this place had almost five stars. I’m kind of blown away actually. For one, this place is REALLY dirty. Like, filthy. And it’s dark, so the fact that I could tell it was dirty in the darkness makes it terrifying for me to try an imagine what it would’ve been like with adequate lighting. There was one woman who spoke to me, and one man that just kept looking at me without saying anything and making me uncomfortable. The place was weird. My water cup was disgusting, had chunks of God knows what stuck to the sides and floating around inside. Awesome. The food was meh. Wasn’t terrible, wasn’t great. I wouldn’t go back. I’ve had MUCH better Indian food, this stuff was just bland and the cuts of meat were crap. My chicken was hard and dry. Still, I’m really taken aback by the fact that anyone would give this more than a three star rating unless they just have literally no prior experience with Indian food. Seriously, guys, c’mon.

Always friendly, always authentic, always tasty. I have been here quite a few times, as have my friends. We have yet to be disappointed in any of their dishes, and we have ordered extensively. I will say, if you ask for spice — they deliver. Both in flavor and in heat. My favorite dish is not super exciting, being the Tika Masala. But, it is sooooo good! I also love the shop next door!

Great Indian food and good, consistent service. I only visit this location for lunch during the week and it’s always a treat. Friendly staff and their grocery store is pretty neat too. Probably the most convenient way to pick up some of the best Indian food in the area.

THEYDESERVEZEROSTARS. We’ve been eating here for 3 years and tonight was the last time. While I was eating a cockroach crawled out of my naan. I TOLDTHEMANAGER(supposedly the manager) and he walked over, carefully grabbed it off the wall(it had made his was to the wall from the table because I freaked out and scared it), with his bare hands and threw the live cockroach in the trash! He didn’t even kill it! Then he went on making food and drinks without washing his hands. I ALMOSTPUKED!!! I’M STILLNAUSEOUS! This place has gone down hill since they opened/bought out the new Teji’s on 1431. The staff are lost and obviously they have a roach infestation!

How to get a free meal: when you order your meal and drink, check your serving for roaches. The food tasted good, however my water had a cockroach in it. To add insult to injury, the waiter did not apologize or say anything but rather just casually replaced the water as if I would continue drinking it. I would highly recommend folks that eat here to inspect their food and drinks carefully. Maybe there is a reason why the lights are so dim in the restaurant section. Possible recommendations to the restaurant: 1. Have the place treated/fumigated for bugs. 2. Conduct a food health and safety inspection by an independent third party(I can help with the request). 3. Get brighter lights so you can inspect the food and drinks before you serve it. 4. Stock up on cans of Raid from your local Home Depot 5. Add a roach meat section to your menu.

Oh how I love Teji’s. I’ve been a patron of their’s since 2008. I should get a gold metal! But really, this is the best indian food I have ever had. I always get the same thing and it’s all vegetarian, yet I’m not vegetarian. I always feel satisfied and have leftovers enough for two extra meals. I like this location best because they don’t skimp out on the portions! My standard faves are the Yellow Daal, Palak Aloo, and Potato Naan. It comes with Basmati Rice. I feel so strongly about the food here, I even brought it to my friend who lives in Frisco, Tx. He has cancer and he raved about it. He can’t eat much, but he texted me every day saying how much he loved the food until it was all gone. 5 stars all the way!

Extremely over priced, horrible food! I got food poisoning this is by no means fine dinning! And it’s terrible that they charge what they do! I will never go back or recommend anyone to ever go.

Food is mediocre. The service is good. I ordered hara bara chicken curry and I did not like it much. The goat biriyani is OK. The chilli chicken is a let down. I may not repeat here.

Came to lunch husband and I. He loves Indian food .I can care less for it. He said it is very good. For me it was ok, what really makes it unpleasant is the service. Lady who attends you is unfriendly, rude, you can tell it is a forced smile. I wont come back here becaue of that.

Cant believe people are giving higher star rating for this pathetic restaurant. I’m an Indian — so I know how to judge Indian food. First of all the Indian lady that runs the business is rude(I think she is rude only to Indians which I’m not surprised) The rice pudding that comes as a part of the meal is inspid, sour and perhaps sitting in the fridge for months. The curries and breads are not fresh either. Guys and gals you all deserve better and there are much nicer restaurants out there in the Austin area

This place is great, especially the tandoor items — they must have a fancy tandoor back there in the kitchen. The curries are always passable and sometimes even good; I go here often enough that I’ve tried a lot of different things on the menu. The couple of chaat dishes I’ve tried were pretty good, worth ordering if you are craving chaat, although it occurs to me that my last papdi chaat did not have any sev. Weird. Most importantly, though, their tandoor stuff! I am not someone who goes on and on about bread and tandoori chicken, but honest-to-god, they might have the best tandoori chicken I’ve ever had. And the paneer tikka is out of this world. It’s very similar to a special type that I had once at a really fancy restaurant in Delhi. For years afterward we’d be like«remember that paneer tikka we had at that one place?» as if we would never have it again. But here I am saying it’s just as good, heck maybe even better, here at Teji’s. That’s why I keep going back over and over.

A friend drove from San Antonio to Round Rock to meet me for dinner here. I’m pretty sure it was the food more than the company… A nondescript coffee shop next to an Indian grocery serving all the Desi folks working at Dell, I had one of the best chicken korma plates I’ve ever had; I sampled my friend’s lamb biyrani… Holy Cow. If you like great Indian food…

I love Teji’s but was a little disappointed at this last dinner. While the quality of the food is as good as ever, the quantity was definitely lacking. I had the chicken tikka masala and when served, there were only about five pieces of chicken in the masala, not even the equivalent of a small breast. My dinner companion had the chicken curry and had the same issue; small amount of chicken. Not sure what the issue was(they did have a large to-go order right before we sat down) but I expect a little more when paying $ 10 a plate.

Mediocre. The portions have shrank considerably since I was last here a few years ago. The garlic naan was good but thin and slightly burned. My entrée was not well spiced and was mostly liquid and a lot of onion although it was supposed to contain other veggies(and the two pieces of cauliflower were way overdone and spongy/soggy), the rice was«wet» and tasted like white rice but maybe it was just overcooked. The place looks much nicer inside and the real dishes instead of kids plastic plates, the«bread course» is still served on those, are a significant improvement. I wish they go back to the way they cooked 3 years ago :)

Legit food. Quality has been pretty consistent so far. The combo’s are thalis and last two meals for me and includes dessert. The korma preparation is similar to the Korma I grew up eating so when I crave Korma, I usually get it from here than elsewhere. Vindaloo is proper spicy and can’t go wrong with Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. They also have chicken wings dipped in your ‘sauce’ of choice(korma, tika masala, curry etc) which I found interesting and have not seen at other Indian restaurants before. Not much of an ambiance but it is a grocery store/restaurant combo so that’s expected. Service is iffy, there’s always different people every time I go. Overall, solid prices and good consistent food.

This is by far my fav North Indian restaurant in the area. The flavors are legit & authentic!!! Vegetarian or Non Vegeterian, you can’t go wrong with the selections. The Combo platters are highly recommended to get a few different flavors! The Naans are fresh & huge, the rice also flavorful & perfect texture. The prices are right & the menu options are plenty. Very impressed with the first trip here. And if you can’t handle the heat, don’t order the spicy, I mean, coming from the Indian palette. I loved their Spicy goat curry. Highly recommended!

This was my second time going here and as the first time it was great! Gilbert was our server, not only great service he also knows menu very well, gave us suggestions had mixed grill platter, all cooked prefect, tender chicken, sausage juicy, sauces hD great flavor. Yogurt dipping sauce was nice cool down for hot stuff, rice cooked great not sticking together and freshly cooked. Nan had great flavor and chat to it and garlic flavor was also so good. Id go again and again.

Definitely a good spot. I wanted to try it all! Chai tea was a lil strange. Probly wouldn’t do that again. Samosa chaat was good, tiki masala was creamy like it should be. Overall I would go back which I probly will. So many reviews for this place but it was so empty.

This place is a Indian grocery with a restaurant. They even have women’s dresses, bracelets, and, DVD’s. This is probably one stop shopping for a lot of people. I like their menu here, definitely one of the more lengthy menus. Sheesh. So much to choose from. Boasting gluten and MSG free, they also offer vegetarian dishes. Which is to be expected. I jumped head first into the Hara Bara Chicken Wings and the Lamb Biryani. Naan is not complimentary, but, Pappadaam(thin crispy wafers) is. I got some Garlic Naan also. Man, I had so much food! The chicken wings were really good. I’m not sure what Hara Bara is, but, I think it is some sort of spicy seasoning with a spinach base. Whatever it is, it was spicy and delicious. I was impressed with the flavor and the moistness of these wings. The pappad was amazing as was the garlic naan(which is not gluten free). As for the lamb biryani? It was pretty dango good, but, not my favorite biryani. On another visit I tackled the lamb wrap with vindaloo flavor. A very huge and filling wrap. The vindaloo is spicy and has vinegar and potatoes in it. Sooo good. When I ordered it the waitress warned me that it was spicy. I was like«that’s great». It had more of a kick than I was expecting. Within seconds my eyeballs started sweating and my hair got a few extra curls in it. But, the spice added to the overall flavor as opposed to taking away by only giving you that crazy burn where you can’t taste any other flavors. Exploring Indian cuisine is always fun, as the dishes, like so many other ethnic cuisines, will vary depending on the region of Country they are from. These guys have just opened their third restaurant in Cedar Park. I like them. They could brush up on their customer service though. I had to flag my waitress down each time for refills on my water. Their menu has lots of «I gotta come back and try that» dishes on it. What’s next on my quest with these guys? Most likely one of the goat dishes. Last time I had goat was when a friend from Nigeria made me some. Been a while. This will be a regular spot for me.
