i absolutely loved the 3 – 4 yr old teacher and that is why there are 2 stars.
the office staff/​owner is a bit unorganized and unprofessional. the older team kids were rude to little kids, rude to their parents and allowed to act like terrors in the hall and lacked overall manners.
The studio itself lacks space and if your kid is not old enough to drop off you have nowhere to sit. The team kids make it extremely difficult to walk or change your kid.
Some of the older kids were setting bad examples in their behavior with some male students.
There is 1 co-​ed changing room for big kids only it seems and the bathrooms weren’t suitable to change young kids coming from school and me coming from work.
I was a competitive dancer and the owner of our studio would never have allowed for this type of behavior nor would she of run her studio like that.

My daughter has been attending the dance spot for over two years. It has been the best dance experience for her as a student and for me as a parent. I researched for the right studio for our daughter fo over a year and I determined that the Dance Spot was the best studio in the Austin area for my daughter. Not only do the dancers have the opportunity to learn from some of the best dance teachers in the area but all students are encouraged to be the best dancers that they can be. I highly recommend the The Dance Spot for any dancer looking to have fun while learning great dance technique!

I have had my three children enrolled at The Dance Spot since it opened and had had the pleasure of knowing Quinton a few years prior to that. He and his staff have never been less than professional and caring towards his dancers and dance parents.
You may think that I may be a bit bias but I have also had my children in various studios in Austin and Houston. This has been by far the best experience for our family.
Quinton has a great deal of experience in the dance industry and only employs the very best staff for his studio. It is obvious and truly visible by the growth of his studio. I have recommended many friends and they have all been extremely satisfied. Occasionally there are some lunatic parents who are incapable of conducting themselves in a proper manner, but those parents easily become insignificant due to the overwhelming positivity of satisfied parents.
I would happily recommend The Dance Spot to any parent wanting a positive and nurturing environment for their child.
As a side note, my two older children are currently studying and working in the dance industry. This has been due to Quinton’s training and support.
