I’ve been to the water 2 wine on west Anderson and loved it. Great selection of wine and impeccable service. I decided to try the roundrock location anticipating the same great experience but was greatly disappointed. They were out of many of the wine selections and service was subpar at best. Simple orders took more than 20 minutes each. What a terrible disappointment. I cannot recommend this location but I would vouch for the west Anderson location.

Most. Awesome. Place. Ever!!! I just happened to stop in here with my boyfriend after dinner, and loved it. Very clean with a nice aroma. The guy who greated us was kind and explained the place to us. We tried the moscotto wine and it was delicious!

I absolutely love Water 2 Wine. I work and volunteer for a non-profit organization. Water 2 Wine allowed us to host a wine tasting event. All of our ticket sales came back to the event; they make their money on bottle sales. They allowed us to use their space freely and were so friendly and accommodating. On top of that, they are very good with recommendations and have an extensive knowledge of wine. We are not only thankful for them for opening their venue to us, but also thankful for their delicious wine choices and beautiful atmosphere! The wine is delicious too!

We’ve been going here for several years and are wine club members. Sharon and the staff are friendly want want to make you feel comfortable. We do a batch of wine each year. The bottling makes for a great party and we use the wine for Christmas gifts.

Super cute inside and everyone is very nice! Try the flights and plan a party if you want to make your own wine with custom labels. My fave was the New Zealand Sauvinon Blanc. They don’t offer any food though not even a cheese tray. They do have cute hand painted glasses from a local artist if you are looking for a cute present. We will definitely be back.

I love their fruity wines and have not had any issues and keep coming back for more, haven’t had any issues with the staff, but then again, I’m only in for a few bottles and out once I pay, so I can’t really comment on the staff. A MUST try if you like sweet wines, my favorite is the mixed berry.

This place has a great concept: you can make your own custom label and put it on a bottle of wine. So for Xmas, I worked with Sharon and made a label for my mother in law. It turned out so well that I decided to get 2 more bottles and do the same thing for my wife. However, when I went back Sharon seemed to have left for the day so I worked with another woman who seemed sort of put off for some reason. She was kind of grumpy with me and all too ready to print a label that was practically illegible, and even put the label on the bottle _before_letting me see how it looked when it was printed. Unfortunately what looks good on a computer screen doesn’t always look the same when it is printed, as was the case here: you couldn’t even read the text. When I asked if we could redo it– so you could at least read the text– it was as if I had asked for some big favor from her. Forget the fact that I was spending fifty dollars for two bottles of wine! I noticed that she was drinking a glass of wine when I came in; maybe she shouldn’t drink during the day if it makes her unpleasant towards the customers. She might be unhappy with her job, but don’t expect me to come back and spend more money if you aren’t nice to work with. **She did not even give me the chance to sample(taste) the wine before buying it.** I sure hope it’s OK when we open it… Needless to say, my second experience was so unpleasant that I will probably NOT be returning! I can understand if they don’t make a lot of money printing a couple of custom labels for one or two bottles of wine, but if you are going to offer that service, then at least do it fairly cheerfully. After all, small customers who have a good experience might return and order a lot more, perhaps even a whole batch of their own custom wine. But given the experience I had, I don’t think that I will be returning to do that…

Sampling all the great wines when I get there is my favorite experience. I invited my husband and he wasn’t that excited about going, but enjoy his time there. He will now be going back with me soon.

Attended a wine tasting. The night was fine, but I wasn’t impressed with their wine. I’m not a wine snob… but I’ve had better bottles from HEB for $ 9.99. I respect what they’re doing, though… maybe I tried the wrong wines???

We had a groupon for a wine tasting class here and it was definitely a fun and educational experience! Fortunately we completed the class in time to watch the Miami Heat beat the Celtics in Game 7 woot woot! The place is fairly easy to find as it’s in the shopping plaza close to Flix Brewhouse, I was at first leary that it may be like these Georgetown businesses that are subliminally neo Christian in nature especially with a name like Water 2 Wine, but luckily especially after being there, it seems pretty secular, apolitical and is focused on what it should be. a wine creating and wine tasting place! Our instructor who was one of the owners of the establishment was REALLY friendly and was extremely informative. Although I have drank wine for years, it was nice to actually get a quick formal instruction on how to actually look, smell, and taste a wine so that you look like you know what you’re doing when you try a wine at a restaurant without looking fake or pretentious. We even did pairings and saw how some foods like dark chocolate, walnuts, and sharp cheddar cheese can change the taste in your mouth once you combine it with wine, either red or white. The once big lesson I learned and kind of already knew about wines… there are no rules! Each person’s pallette is different and just because you have steak doesn’t mean you are required to drink it with a red, if it complements with a white and taste delicious to you, go for it! Also, older wine doesn’t necessarily mean better wine, and once a bottle is open should consume it at max in 2 – 3 days, and can be somewhat prolonged to 6 – 7 days with use of vaccum seals. I picked up on some other great tips that I wrote down like I was in a classroom and will definitely keep in my long term memory. Haven’t been to the Austin location, but the Round Rock location definitely did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this place for any beginner wine aficionados!

I love this place! Water2Wine is a great surprise for wine lovers! Martha and Sharon are great, and they know their wine. This is a great place for wine tastings, girls nights, and date nights. They make all their wine in house, and you can even purchase a barrel to make and label yourself(great for holiday gifts). They don’t serve food, but that’s not a problem. They welcome you to bring in your own. My friends and I always bring in a variety cheese plate with grapes and nuts, it goes great with the wine flights. The only downside is that they close a little early, other than that, one of my favorite places!

I visited Water 2 Wine for the first time this past Saturday night, for their 3 year anniversary. I brought two friends from Houston and we weren’t sure what we were in for, we just decided to see what the festivities were all about! First, the staff there. WOW. EVERYONEISSOWONDERFUL. The owners and their daughter came and talked to us, and they were so lovely. They introduced themselves to us by name, remembered OUR names, and thanked us profusely for patronizing their establishment. I will tell business owners a little secret… THIS is the way to get repeat business. Furthermore, they did not have one ounce of «snob» in them. I’ve been to other wineries where the owners or employees were less than friendly. This isn’t the case here. And, the manager, Martha, was a LOVELY woman who talked to us about the wine and made sure our glasses were never empty. The wine was DELICIOUS. Great varieties, and they use FIFTEEN times fewer sulfides than other winemakers, so I can imbibe without worrying about my pesky allergies. I will definitely be returning. This is a WONDERFUL place. Family owned, family operated, and all around wonderful. Check it out!!!

Interesting place. They close really early, but have great selection of wines. Wish they had food to go with it, but it’s not what they do. You get to try 3 wines for free, so that’s nice. Wine bottles are moderately priced.

I am not planning to go into details about my rating because that will mean thinking about my bad experience and that will just make me mad again. The staff was nice and accommodating. The manager, Margaret, was an ill tempered woman who succeeded in making a bad situation worse. She should take a management class on de-escalation and get better reading glasses. When you fail to inform a customer that their appt time has changed, don’t be combative when offering options.

Since moving to Austin, the usual Friday night tradition is to start off the night with a visit to Water 2 Wine in Round Rock. Not only is the wine varied and amazing, but the staff at that location makes you feel like family. Water 2 Wine is a franchise wine bar with locations in Texas, Colorado, and California. There are two locations in Austin which I haven’t tried, but if they are anything like the Round Rock location they should be just as fantastic. They have a vast majority of red and white wine on selection, all fermented within the store itself. I only recently started drinking wine within the past year, so I still consider myself something of an amateur. The staff has been very helpful in figuring out my tastes and has never disappointed me with their suggestions. You can get 3 sample tastings of any wine in the store, and on Friday nights they offer $ 5 flights of three different types of wines. They offer a menu of different tastes that go together well, or mix and match your own. You can also bring in your own food to enjoy with the wine. It’s a perfect opportunity to pair up chocolates, fruits, and cheeses to make it a truly elegant experience perfect for groups or romantic dates. If you are interested in making your own wine or learning more about the craft, they also teach classes and provide services to make your own wine complete with custom labels perfect for special occasions. My cousin and her husband made their own batch of red wine for their wedding, complete with three different labels all done in the store.

This is my favorite Water 2 Wine location. The owners and staff are warm and friendly and the wine is great. Free tasting is 3 per visit(no longer 6). You can buy by the glass, a flight(3 paired tastings) or a bottle. you can drink there or bring it home. You can make you own wine using there grapes and process then bottle and label your own design. I have personally bottled 6 blends and always have a great time. They have a wine club as well and many special events. I live in Manor and it is about a 30 min drive. This location is well worth it!

There’s no better place in Round Rock to start your Friday night! Wines are fermented on site, 18% alcohol in most cases, and six free tastings to explore what you want!

We live and play in SW Austin but this store brings us the the north country for it’s fine wine, and friendly staff and owner. Keeping it local! I’ve lifted some of the text from their website…(which you should visit) This custome winery is an actual wine-making operation, where all wines are fermented on site. With access to more than 100 wines from 13 countries and everything open for tasting, your taste buds can travel around the world without ever leaving the store. All of the wines are significantly lower in sulfites and other chemicals than store bought varieties. If you know someone who reacts to even a glass of wine by getting headaches, stuffy nose or flush face, chances are they can enjoy these wines without the negative side effects.

It was OK — I have gone to better places. They close way to early like 7:30pm — 8pm. If you don’t drink they only really have water to drink.
